It isss, he was doing crowdwork about Passover, the jewish holiday and a crowd member chimed in and Gianmarco was like "oh so you're Jewish" and the crowd member just went "nah, I'm just educated"
My hometown had a museum that was just "the oldest house in town" and they gave tours. Went as a kid for a field trip. I'll say this - it was better than class.
Love that he asked the next comic for 5 more minutes, very classy. I've done comedy a little in Atlanta and there is often a lot of toxic "talent" at comedy clubs.
In my Florida highschool, they (they being the governor not the school) banned AP sociology due to brief mentions of feminism, gender identity, and the works. And they almost banned ap psychology because of a single page in the textbook referencing gender identity. Our education system is falling apart.
Im pretty sure my school either subverted that law or broke it because im also from Florida and every school I've been in has had psychology that included gender identity and sexuality.
i forgot the USA is like a toddler in terms of the world cause when they said oldest house i was thinking like 13th century. it’s like 350 years or something. european brain was like “tf? there’s like dozens of buildings older than that even where i live”
well once you look in the past before it was the US or a European colony it goes back just as far as anywhere else. But we don't really study that, except maybe as a "here's what culture and religion were like back then" kind of thing.
@@cee_ves Oh obviously and I don't mean to come across at all as condescending or whatever, I'm sure you're perfectly educated on loads of this! There's just this tendency people have when talking about world history as if the Americas did only appear then and like sure in terms of telling a linear narrative of Western history or even most significant events until that point, the Americas don't factor in all that much if at all. But that's far from the only way world history can be taught or looked at. I do get why they're cut a lot of the time though, they were very disconnected up until colonization began.
It might be! Audience playtimes, watch lengths at certain times, etc. are a real thing. If you watch a lot of gianmarco videos around the same time of day, for the same length, same time of week, it will show the uploader that people are watching during this period.
