    Hello thanks for your content, it has helped me a lot. I hope you can help me with a question: what are the solution controls used for and how do I know why numbers to change them?

    • @ansys_cfd
      @ansys_cfd  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hola estimado;
      Los controles se usan para cambiar los factores de sobrerelajacion, es una forma de asegurar y alcanzar la convergencia. Para un mayor entendimiento te recomeniendo revisar literatura de metodos numericos y buscar como palabra clave factores de sobre-relajacion generalmente denotado por "alpha".
      Saludos cordiales

    can you help calculate and plot the amount of energy stored during PCM melting ? I dont know how to calculate that on Post.

    Hello,
    Can someone recommend a good tutorial for Ansys simulation of filament flow in the heater block of 3D printer

    is this method applicable when there is flow velocity, ie. one side is inlet and other is outlet and we have ie. 1 m/s velocity

    I have a question,
    The geometry and the boundary values are clearly symmetrical but it looks like the end result of the simulation is slightly asymmetrical in its phase change boundary, why is this the case?

      Good question and good observation. In this, a sensitivity analysis would have to be done to refine the mesh. Regards

    where does the density of ice value come from?
    is it from experimentation or just intuition?

    • @ansys_cfd
      @ansys_cfd  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The function is not from an experiment, however if you have the curve you can add it as shown in the video.
