High pressure keeping things settled in the north whilst low pressure brings more unsettled conditions in the south with a yellow warning in place for thunderstorms. A fine day for northern and western Scotland, and sunny spells developing for Northern Ireland and northwest England. Staying cloudy for eastern Scotland and northeast England. Scattered thunderstorms and showers affecting central and southern parts of England and Wales, bringing a risk of heavy downpours and hail.
