Installation of Soft Start module in the DeWALT DWE7492 circular tablesaw and show starting current

- This otherwise excellent saw suffers from one shortcoming, it does not have a built-in soft start module. I have prepared a short video about installing the soft start module in the DeWALT DWE7492 saw and also about displaying the starting current waveform without the module and with the soft start module on the oscilloscope.

What softstart module have you purchased. I just ordered my table saw and it's one of the first things I wanted to do it.
XS-16/D3, JRR-01,... there are more markings of the same module.
Every video I watched on the instalment have the double blue-black and brown-black cable going to the right side of the switch when I opened my switch box those wires were at the left side of the switch. I guess this isnt realy a problem because my saw worked just fine. Or were those wires installed wrong from the factory and should I switch these around before installing the soft start module?
As far as I've watched it on other videos and sites about module assembly I think over time and for different regions of sales the wire colors and wiring change.
@@Tech-3D I installed it anyway and it works the motor just flashes when you stop the saw but I guess they all do it

Parada. Odstranil si asi jediny nedostatok tej pily.
Tým som riešil dva problémy naraz. Rozbeh aj zastavenie. Softštartový modul funguje vlastne obojsmerne. Spomaľuje rozbeh aj utlmuje trochu motorovú brzdu pri zastavení. Tým sa eliminuje možné nebezpečenstvo pri použití drážkovacích kotúčov, ktoré sa vzhľadom na svoju hmotnosť pri tvrdej brzde môžu povoľovať. O tom bude video neskôr.
dewalt saws in the usa don’t have brown and black wires doubled up.
how do we connect these soft start modules?
is there a schematic you could provide?
or….where do each colored wires go from the motor….

Dewalt changes driver colors according to the regions and seasons in which it manufactures and sells saws. When wiring, follow the diagram indicated on the soft start module. It's simple.
