Hi Paulina! I love this video and how you organized your bookshelf! It looks really good! I like that it’s not overstuffed and there are room for decorative items. I also like what you talked about in the beginning of the video about limiting your shelf space to one bookshelf and letting go of the idea that we should always aim to buy books when we could always borrow books from the library. I also love when you shared what reading was like for you in your childhood. I too grew up in a household where we could not necessarily have the means to buy the books we want but relied a lot on the library. My husband was the same. My young kids now of course has many books in their room (I do buy them books also limited in one bookshelf) but we still go to the library as well so they grow up also loving libraries. Thank you so much for sharing this! It also motivates me to keep my bookshelves organized and to think twice when buying a book vs borrowing!
Hi Tina, good to hear from you! So glad your children enjoy libraries, they are one of the greatest gifts of the civilized world to humanity. I think sometimes watching these huge book hauls on TH-cam can make us forget we don't really need to buy books to enjoy reading.
Getting carried away thinking and talking about Classics is very relatable, I've read many of the books on the top shelf, so I'll look forward to your thoughts on different publications eventually making it to the internet. The idea of a buddy-read with the giveaway winner is also a charming one, hopefully the schedules align! There's something very joyful in watching somebody talking about things they like and sharing their thoughts in simple settings. I hope your TH-cam journey continues to bring you happiness and that the enjoyment never fades for you.

As my goal for 2025, I am also reading War and Peace and love the Maude translation 😊 I have not read anything by Daphne du Maurier yet, but have heard good things about My Cousin Rachel and Rebecca. Would love to read them some day.
