Watching all the labor involved in potato farming, I cant believe that potatoes can be sold as cheap as they are. You guys are amazing! And I love potatoes any way they are cooked. Keep 'em coming.
So well explained throughout the video of the workings of your production line the close up details of machine workings.good health and happiness to all at bells farm and viewers for 2025.
I love your channel....I hate seeing you work so hard for your money farming is a hard way to live your life but honest work. You and Shane would have all the money you could want to live a fabulous life if you started another channel. You have what it takes the good lord blessed you.
Molly, I love the thumbnail. Omfg!! Your so Enchantingly Beautiful!! And you are just killin this smashing blouse, your striking Elegance absolutely always resonates deeply, And your Beauty is unparalleled surpassing any comparison in the world on so so many many levels
Gonna snow south of Houston tonight. Yall made me hungry for a potato. I bought some big ugly russets Saturday and thats gonna be dinner for a few nights. Thanks for the videos of the packing line.
Yay, another wonderful video, 'been anticipating the next one. I never feel cheated when I see what's happening at Bell's Farms. With the snow, it looks a little cold there. The reports are promising similar weather here in Southeast Georgia. We haven't had snow here since 1989. Stay warm and keep bringing the gteat videos. I "liked" this one too.
Shane on the last video I watched you and Your bride were in the process of moving the conveyor into place using the front end loader! I watch a heavy machinery show and they use a fork lift to move equipment around! They have a hole drilled in the tip of one of the forks they temporarily bolt a trailer hitch ball for trailers of chain! When you use that loader it’s hard for you to see the connection! With the fork lift you have a clear line of sight!
Holy moly, Molly! Is there anything you folks DON'T have a processing machine for?? LOL. Great to see you embracing technology to become more efficient. Shows good business savvy! Cheers.
First of all, I want to say what ,a great day to see a , beautiful pretty lady friend ,on my screen and , it’s a great day ,as we / I will soon be , able to go out and about more with , the vary low priced ,top tier gas/diesel fuel prices coming right on line , thanks Molly you guys are ,top notch people BigAl California thanks
She is wonderful. We watch these videos and think about how she is such a good dog. I’m glad we will have all of these videos to remember her when that time comes.
At around the 13 minute area we can see the power jack being used to move a pallet of the bagged potatoes. When the jack is returned and no longer needed it is left with the forks pointed in the direction of the doorway. I see it’s positioned to just move to get the next full pallet but the forks are a trip hazard. Great video, wish your potatoes were in Minnesota.
Another great video. Is the gray conveyor around the 7:45 mark the one Shan built just a video or two ago? If it is, looks great and works great. The video showing the bagging machine operation was very cool.
The potatoes are kept and a low temperature and the right humidity in the storage areas. The whole corn is sold in our farm store for animal feed mostly.
Very interesting to see how the packiging machines actually work, and the home made stacker belt makes the backbone last longer! I love taters, thanks for posting folks, any chance for some long distance shooting vids?

That floor plan/machinery set up is a work of art. Kudos to everyone who put in the hard work to install and keep up the process!
Bagging whole corn with the grain vac sounds like a productive morning! 🕒💪 Can't wait to see the process in action. 🌽🛠

Shane. As a 42 year baggage handler for American Airlines that little conveyer you bilt to lift the 50lb bags to waist height is the shit!
Yeah it works really well for how simple it is. Much easier on the back!

Yeah we use the skid steer and the fork lifts to move things just that way, we have a hole in one of the forks. :)

We are planning to be in Leeds in July and hope to stop in and get some products.
Oh good! If you come at the end of July we might have beans and sweet corn!
And I put all them bags out for people to buy and enjoy everyday at Walmart. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Yes that’s the one he made :) all painted
God evening everyone. Quite the process just so I can eat a baked potato for dinner. Lol
Enjoy the potato!🥔
Greetings from Denmark
Thanks!
I'm pissed at my dumb memory. Molly did that great video explaining all the different grades...and I forgot them. I know the big nice ones are chef.
B’s are the little guys :)
Hi do the bag potatoes already have a bar code on them for the store?
wow fast reply too. ❤️
@ yes most of the bags are printed with barcodes
Trip what trip?
how do you keep the potatoes from spoiling . what do you with the corn that you bag
The potatoes are kept and a low temperature and the right humidity in the storage areas. The whole corn is sold in our farm store for animal feed mostly.
thank you
Iowa here, how has your winter been so far. I'd be supprised if we got an inch yet but cold we got !!!! down to 0 degrees last couple of days :)
Very interesting to see how the packiging machines actually work, and the home made stacker belt makes the backbone last longer!
I love taters, thanks for posting folks, any chance for some long distance shooting vids?
Thank you very much! We will try and get out again soon. Shane has gone out with Derick a few times, I’m due for a shooting day!
@@BellsFarming Ah, thanks for answering dear.
Is there an emergency switch that shuts everything down?
Yes, there’s quite a few e stops on the line
Haha I’m running to turn off the grader because I don’t want to turn everything off, we will call it a pause button hahah
you must see potatoes in your sleep
Hahaha
it's about to be -2.5°F here tomorrow, you are going to need a warmer coat and toque Molly
Always love watching your operation. Just a question, how far west do you ship your potatoes?
I really love the show and now I realize how labor-intensive your job is. Do you have any distribution in the southern Wisconsin area?
Hard product is much easier to mechanically handle, I just assume that soft products are more expensive to the consumer?
hello from france
Hello! 👋
Molly made a mess!! lol!
I liked the footage of how the machinery works sorting and bagging the taters. I always like seeing how stuff works.
Hey Mollie, Shane, I noticed Organic Milling on the semi, do raise you crops organic then? Ron😊
Another great video, Molly. If you don't mind me asking, roughly how many potatoes do y'all donate yearly? Do most farms donate from y'all's area?
Thanks!,
how much do cylo hold
The bagging bin holds like 15 tons, I’ll have to get back to you on the big bin! Thanks
