Just open the Wikipedia and read some pages - from the grand battle of Poitiers in 732, when the Frankish Kingdom saved Europe from the spread of Islam and ending with numerous fights of the French colonial empire ..
Napoleon Bonaparte occupies a special place in history
The military victorys, the foundation of the Bank of France (January 6, 1800), the prefects (February 17, 1800), the Concordat (signed on July 16, 1801), the lyceum (May 1, 1802), the Order of the Legion of Honor (May 19, 1802), the bimetallic standard of the franc jerminal (March 28 1803), and, finally, the Civil Code (!!!!!!)(March 21, 1804) and many other positive moments....
These achievements to a great extent characterize the modern world;
Napoléon Bonaparte is often regarded as the father of modern Europe....

@@EdgyBushMan rofl everyone else was just as 'warmongering'. Did you look at the amount of wars in the preceeding century? The difference being that in the past everyone was relatively equally incompetent and the wars were solely fought for the old order. Hence a bizarre balance was achieved.
The problem with Napoleon was that 1) he was an outsider who became Emperor on pure ambition and ability thus threatening the old Order and 2) He was too good at what he did thus breaking the status quo.
@@EdgyBushMan Nope i'll justify him waging his wars because it made the world a better place longterm. And the coalition against him was never because of 'warmongering' but above fear of seeing the vile ancient régime topple. Fear of England about loosing control. England wanted the world. Guess what they won. And afterwards we got such 'beautiful' things like the concentration camps of the Boer Wars and a major Imperial state across the planet. Was this objectively bad. No. It caused a lot of good. But Napoleon just like the British Empire were no absolute villain, far from. For my people Napoleon did a lot of good. More than the other states wanted or gave. And even after his defeat the ideals and reforms his spread lingered thankfully, never to be rooted out fully by the old systems. So yeah I'll justify it just like people like you justify the wars of the coalition supposedly being for 'peace'.

Alors que nous avons envoyé cinq navires de la Marine nationale française dont le porte-avions Charles de Gaulle et un sous-marin nucléaire pour la célébration de ... Trafalgar !?!

De plus Napoléon a fait l'énorme erreur de se jetter sur la Russie sans préparatifs et en fonçant sur la mauvaise capitale. Il s'est alliené tout espoir de rallier le peuple Russe en proclamant le grand Duché de Varsovie suite à quoi de nombreuses bandes de partisans se sont formées derrière les lignes Françaises. Durant tout le conflit les Russes ont tenu la tête haute face à un ennemi superieur dans presque tout les aspects.

Je ne connaissait pas du tout cet animé italien :) www.cinemaitaliano.info/ciaonapoleone Il ne semble pas être encore traduit en français.
Ainsi, pour la première fois j'ai entendu parler de ce dessin animé dans le programme du trentième festival du film italien qui se déroulait à Bastia (c'était, approximativement, du 3 au 11 février 2018). J'ai passé en revue beaucoup de vidéos promotionnelles de ce dessin animé et j'ai lu quelques annotations, et je peux dire que c'est un dessin plutôt spirituel, bien que, comme toujours avec des inexactitudes historiques,
Bien qu'il n'y ait aucune démonstration des batailles de l'armée française et l'activité politique de Napoléon Bonaparte, mais le dessin animé, en plus de l'humour, réveille le sentiment de pitié pour le Grand Empereur lors de son expulsion sur l'Elbe.
Les caricatures ont fait de Napoléon un homme sensuel et un ami des petits enfants)
Et donc, en français, ce dessin n'a pas encore été traduit, bien qu'un de mes signataires de Facebook m'ait écrit que la version anglaise des dessins animés marchait sur internet ...
