I played this on my PS2 back in the days, had just downloaded it recently on my PC to play it again. Its an amazing game, waiting for the rest of the parts here, hopefully damon will join in.

You should have shot the birds - They can drop ammo, money or health items. Basicly everything you can kill drops items, with the exception of the cows for some reason. Small spiders in cave and such, fish drops eatible fish in different sizes and chickens drop eggs.
I'm not sure why they were so worried about conserving ammo in the beginning... It's really not as scarce as they think it is.
That, and Flash Grenades work perfectly for crows.

I got the game for free, and I *still* wanted my money back.
I played when it came out and was somewhat fun. Then tried years later and it made me puke for some reason. Now I made one if my buddy to buy it and we cry laughing from typical goofy RE Capcom story. That is so silly and try to be serious and absurd and Leon actually killed a president that was about to uncover deep state and make confessions about US gov wrong doings... Turns out it can be insanely fun if you know mechanics well.

I remember the controls being great on GameCube.
If you have it for PC there is an option to change them in the menu at least in the HD remake. Unless you have the original game for PC in which case there is no option but there is a mod that adds mouse support for the original RE4.

Physical attacks were my favorite about RE 4 and 5. It was annoying me how they were shooting them and attempting to knife instead. Those physical attacks really take out the horde in a cool way.
It’s so much quicker to reload on the menu also. Well when I had it on Game Cube.
RE 6 is the most garbage that I’ve played and made me stop playing the resident evil series.

even Revelation 2's merc mode is awsome
When I can even bring myself to play the RE6 story anymore, I can really only stomach Leon/Helena's campaign. The other options are "borderline Gears of War or Run-Or-Die"
Of course, there's also Ada's story, but who the fuck cares about that.
