Hello, here a Spaniard. About LaMancha. La Mancha is the name of a large region of Spain. It does not mean wilderness, in fact the true meaning of the name has been lost over time, and can mean anything from high plain to dry land or waterless land. I believe that the use of La Mancha as the name of the faction leader may be a (very indirect) reference to Don Quixote, a fictional literary character who is said to have been born “somewhere in La Mancha”. Don Quixote, for those who do not know him, embodies much of the philosophy of the galaxy rangers, a solitary armored knight who fought wherever there was injustice, he did it alone and had not superiors or bosses but only one subordinate, a squire. Also mention that Don Quixote lived in his own world, disconnected from reality and all of the battles he fought were fictitious or lost cases. Good video by the way.
Dr. Primitive is definitely on the IPCmost wanted list probably with the highest bounty considering how his experiments would affect them, they would definitely have his bounty higher than the stellaon hunters

I would like to add something. You talked about Boothill dying inside after burying his family, but the truth is that it is specified that when he returned to the surface of his planet he couldnt make a proper burial, because there was nothing left to bury.
This version really highlighted 2 of the infamous Genius Society's members, Dr. Primitive and Polka Kakamond. The Dr. Primitive part with Rappa and the Galaxy Rangers eere fun, but personally I was more interested snd invested in the new Polka lore. The idea of a faceless super genius assassin is just so awesome to me.
I think other stereotypes we could see the galaxy rangers based off are Pirate (I imagine them using like some sort of ship cannon weapon), assassin (I just want to see someone use a sniper rifle), I also think maybe a character inspired by Robin Hood that uses a bow and arrow 😅idk. With rappa and boothill so far it seems the galaxy rangers all specialise in a different long range weapon (boothill guns and rappa throwing blades) so I think it’s something they’d continue in the rest of them as well.

I love the game but i play it more to play with eventually going back for reading and lore retention. This might be just me overthinking but the people at Hoyo love anime, with Evangelion being a main inspriation. So, I wonder if Dr. Primitives whole thing of devolving people into monkey's is a reference to a virus called Monkey Business from the anime Cowboy Bebop, it doesn't really matter if it is but it's just a random thing that popped in my head. Anyway, I think the drunk galaxy ranger might be based off of the 'drunken master' trope from kung-fu movies. The leader on the other hand might be a reference to Don Quixote, who is from LaMancha, adaptations of the original book depict him as a well meaning tragic dreamer but the original book depicts him as being a public menace who scares people. If the leader is based off of Don Quixote it'll be interesting to see what version Hoyo decides to go with. ((I highly recommend Highly Sarcastic Productions video on the book, it's pretty funny))

I don't know, would Lancelot fit as a Galaxy Ranger I'm just having a mental image of him being a knight of beauty not to mention Guinaifen background before she stayed in the loufu are more Arthurian like her brothers name is already a dead give away plus her real name is Guinevere who is King Arthur wife in my opinion I think knight of beauty fit him much better. Although it's not impossible their are Questing knights after all and there will definitely be a Samurai inspired Galaxy Ranger it just fits well with the Stereotyping theme of the Faction.

I can’t stand HSR stories as they are so boring, long-winded and all over the place. Bunch of random interactions and trail character fights and POVs that serve nothing at all. I end up skipping and watching the lore videos on Yt.
Eh it's subjective. I really liked this patch's story with its dark undertones and how it basically thematically shows the current state of social media in a cautionary tale; plus, the new UD story with Polka was legit chilling
