Same lol I did this during sparring a longer guy and my elbow hurts still since last week so I just thought I needed to take a light break from sparring and heavy bag until it stops

I think I'm suffering from this for the past 2 to 3 weeks now 👀 I woke up the day after hard sparing with the gents and my right arm has been paining ever since then. Thought I'd TH-cam it but figured no one talks about this so no point in trying. Next thing you know Tony Jeffries comes through without even been asked. Danko💪 imma go watch this now.

Its good i was a deliquent with straight puncher title now i m practicing to become more stronger along with other martial skills
This is why we tense at the point of impact on kicks and punches in karate so there's an ever so slight bend in the knee and elbow

Oh my god! Finally someone came up with this, I always hit right hooks and then wake up with a back bone arm hurting, then my arm joints would hurt when I started boxing.

Have you got a video on how to throw a 1 2 3 on the heavybag? I can throw the 1 2, but im never in range to throw the hook afterwards. Im sure there are tactics like stepping forwards with the lead foot, but i would like someone to walk me through it so i can get a good idea on what im doing. Maybe you could do a video on how to land the lead hook?

Boxing gloves make a difference too. I see Tony got the Hayabusas. I got the LX ones. Makes a big difference compared to cheap gloves. They can be expensive, but I know a guy who sells them almost half off.

You said everything to how to avoid that hyper extended elbow but when i throw the jab my albow hurts i dont know if i have hyper-extended elbow i didnt gone to the doctor but it hurts some times and how do i fix that? Can i fix it myself? :))
I have a injury since childhood on my left elbow(Maybe during falling from horseback I don't recall) If I relax my shoulder in Bicep curl position without engaging the muscles and if someone taps on my gloves or fist I get a Immidate sharp pain...I think I need X ray and proper treatment

Idk about hyper extension but the kinetic energy seems to be absorbed most into my lead hand shoulder even though I throw harder shots with my left, for some reason i'm able to throw / carry more of my body weight & twist through my left hand with no pain to the shoulder.

My shoulder. At the end above my collor bone above my arm, there's a knot. Swells up alot when I'm boxing. Hurts. Any idea how I hit wrong?

dont go to full extension, same with kicks (except rear kicks and knife edge kicks)
those are the hayabusa t3 gloves arent they? i use the s4 16oz hayabusa gloves and they are great gloves
I have the T3 LX. It has more padding and definitely helps prevent injuries like in this video.
