- This episode of "Behind the Crest: Road to Rio" sees the the U.S. WNT play three games in six days to take the full nine points during group play at the 2016 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying Championship and earn a coveted berth in the semifinal, where a win will send the team to the Rio Olympics. The run included lots of smart regeneration to get the legs ready for the tasks at hand as well as a bushel of goals. One player tied team record for goals in a game and another also had to focusing on hitting the books as well as the field.

Let's all give it up for Mal Pugh, who not only gets her Calculus homework done, she also plays on the #1 nat'l women's soccer team in the world in Olympic qualifying games.
I dropped Calculus and I was not on the #1 nat'l women's soccer team in the world.

Kelley is such an underrated player. Jill thinks that Kelley won't be able to contribute to this team but she's wrong. Kelley (in my opinion) is the most versatile player on the team. From Stanford she won the Mac Herman trophy, showing she was the top player/forward during her college years. She's played every minute of every game during the 2012 Olympics. Kelley definitely has the skill and mentality to be on the roster for good. I just hope Jill gets her head out of her diary and realizes that. Like if you agree

it's gonna be tough for jill this summer ...kelley was key to winning the world cup ...but the midfielders seems locked with Dunn, Heath, Horan, Bean ...maybe sub in kelley

I love Carli Lloyd and Hope Solo's attitude toward the game. When you as good as the USWNT you have every right have that type of attitude. When an entire team is this intent on victory there nothing the opponents can do about it.

I'm so happy they show the struggle of a highschool student in the big leagues. Shows ladies out there that dreams shouldn't have date marks but you should always be striving to make them become reality. If you want something, don't just sit around and keep wishing, work to make it a reality. Even on the dark, hard days.

I just wanna tell all these young kids to put their phones down and LIVE IT!!! Seeing these women in Denver when they played China(friendly) was amazing!!! I have 2 pictures which was fine but the memories of actually seeing and living and talking was the amazing part, living behind a camera isn't always the best....

The truth is diverse countries like England, France and Brazil start to take female soccer more seriously they would be miles better than the USA. The USA female soccer program is the biggest funded in the world so course it will be better in a mostly amateur sport
We can say the same for our guys
BP TV But it isn't true. The USA men's team are fully professional with professional players and professional league, There are only 2 or 3 professional female leagues in the world and none have the money female college sports system has. The USA female team are essentially beating up on amateur female teams. But the men's team are the real level of American soccer.
