- Day 10 of our road trip from FL to MT we finally make it to MONTANA!!! We started our day in Glendive, Montana and drove 6 hours to Great Falls Montana where we went to the beautiful State Park of Giant Springs! William Clark from Lewis and Clark came to this very spot on June 18, 1805 and said this was the largest fountain or spring he had ever seen. Wow what a cool place in our history! Watch the video and learn more about their expedition west to the Pacific Ocean!

Yes the boys were having so much fun, they had a lot of energy that day because we had a long car ride earlier that day, lol. We all really enjoyed this area it was so beautiful :) Thanks so very much for watching and supporting us, we really appreciate it :)

My home for 75 years, grandson, and great grandson of Montana homesteaders. Farmer all of my life. I have a picture of my mother and fathers standing on the dike around the springs that are shown in this video, it was a wooden boardwalk back then probably taken in the early 40's. I'm glad you like our state.

That’s some clear water, it looks like a beautiful state park, and the price isn’t that bad for what it is! I wonder if you’re allowed to kayak in the river? That is the best education, being able to experience what is taught for hours sitting down in class. My son will play with that pancake before eating it 😆
It was super clear :) I'm sure you could kayak somewhere there. Yes I agree, the kids really do learn so much on our travels, its funny then they will read about places in their school books, and they are like, we've been there! Well done on your video, Melissa. Great job on highlighting the area. The spring water was crystal clear and looked great with underwater view. Rolling down the hill after the "Rocky" climb, then rolling back up! Magic! lol 😂 The falls were nice to see. What did you think about the BB Diner portion sizes? That's a very beautiful place that I water was amazing. Great underwater footage too. I'd love to roll down a green hill here. Very nice to hear about carrying the boats. Those falls are beautiful. Nice to see the dam too.

When Colin moved here to Wisconsin from Washington, he drove through Montana, and I remember him telling me how long the drive felt. But the mountains are absolutely gorgeous. The spring is so cool! The water looks beautiful. Cute pancake! 🙂

It was a long drive that day, we have to put long days in sometimes coming from so far away, lol :) It was neat that Lewis & Clark came right through here! Road Trips are our fav!

A really interesting place. It looks lovely and has history as well. I loved the underwater images that you filmed. So beautiful. If I had known of the place I would have visited instead of lingering over breakfast in Great Falls. We had left Glacier the day we passed this way and were heading east. When we had come all the way from the UK and had only two weeks to explore we tended to miss a lot. Thanks for showing me yet more places to enjoy.
