Absolutely! I get a sense in the last 20 seconds or so, from facial expressions of the band members, that they're loosening up and enjoying the fact that they just nailed it.

I was just looking at Elvis's version of this song in Las Vegas. He had at least 37 people in his band. You can't quite see all of them, but I counted 37. And he did the song every night, so it was quite polished. But, he was still the king. Nobody ever had a voice like his. Covers are rarely as good as the original, anyway. And the cover here by No Doubt is quite competent. It's probably the only time they ever did the song. And I'm sure that they were not attempting to improve on Elvis. That's not what "cover" means.
I just have to say that No Doubt is amazing. Gwen's voice is so different and great. I love this cover. Yes, Elvis was the original and everyone knows you can't beat him. But this is just pure sweetness :) I'm a rabid fangirl though...so I may be biased.

This song's been covered more times than Monica's dress. I think the band did a really good job. Gwen's got enough vocal power that she could have 'made it her own', so to speak. I wish she had.
i like covers of classic songs when they're turned ska... ska is a very creative type of music. this reminded me a lot of save ferris' version of come on eileen and i want you to want me...i..as a musician believe it was genious.
