Really great job given that his hair is not the typical hair texture in Japan. Sun Wolf is an incredible barber with great versatility. Greetings from NYC.
I never ever leave video comments but this was so good that I had to. I live in the Washington D.C area and there are black barbers who don't cut black hair this well. Especially not with this much care and attention to detail. Much respect to Mr. Miwa. Thank you for uploading Vic. Would love to see Barber88 try cutting this man's hair.
Aye if your looking for a barber in the d.c / md area search up thunder shop on Instagram and see if it’s for you . The barber has good energy and very understanding if you communicate well with him .
Respect to you for this video. Need to see more of this. Absolutely loved it. Here in the Indo subcontinent of Asia, it's super rare for me to see something like this. Refreshing content.
Hey, three years later and i found this video very enlightening and relaxing. Sun wolf is definitely an expert at his craft. Ill have to come see him sometime
Sunwolf took the challenge and from the beginning to the end he battle with the hair lol but send him clean and fresh 👌 love it ,perfectionist every time he could that what an artist do, making sure every single place was even. Great content in this horrible times we leaving
NoVaKane do you really think he didnt need to? i mean, the vast complexity in these types of hair procures for different combing speeds; alas, if Mr Miwa had used the Einstein formula for speed B^2,5-9% i do think he might have needed to.
hi! i just wanted to say i love your personality & videos so much. i stumbled across your older videos, and im almost completely fluent in japanese now thanks to them!! youre a very good language teacher and i really appreciate the haircut videos daily as well.
This was great and required a great deal of trust on both sides. I know that as a Japanese barber it took confidence to try to cut African American hair, it’s a completely different texture than what they usually cut. I also know it took trust for an African American to let someone who is not Black cut their hair because black folks like everyone else are serious about ensuring their hair looks good. Great job!! ❤️❤️
Hispanic is not a race, so it's not a fair comparison. There are black hispanics, but I'm hispanic too and my hair is clearly different. But let's try to keep things civil, guys.
@@ASMRJapan I saw a number of comments prior that said African American. I was making a general comment for potential commenters so they realize what they are saying. Love your work and videos. I hope you have some cuts stockpiled to get through the quarantine.

I'm African American and loved it that Mr.Mira took the challenge you can also look at 360 Jeezy or Chris Bossier to learn how to cut our type of hair but absolutely appreciated this video always a fan and watching
As a black man visiting Japan, I would have had my own reservations about finding a great barber, but after seeing this, I don't think those reservations are warranted.
A little free hand clipper work to smooth out the ends would help polish the look. Not bad considering it is not common to cut this kind of hair in Japan.
Great effort Mr.Miwa. With more practice comes experience, I hope he goes back and has an open dialog about how to approach his texture of hair. I love watching someone put their best effort into whatever they're doing. Great video!
OMG! I know I just found and watched this but I must say..This is a first for me! Please make more like this because I have never seen vids of Black customers with out of Black barbershops! 👍🏾
Love your videos! Just FYI, African American is typically reserved for American citizens of African decent. Saliou, being Senegalese, probably doesn't fit this term. There are black ethnicities all over the world! Probably most accurate to call it "afro-textured" or just "textured" hair.
Thanks yeah I know. I actually talk to them about it and they said yeah go ahead and use African-American. I thought that might be the clearest word. But yeah you’re completely right.
@@ASMRJapan for sure! I was a little confused at first because you introduced him as from Senegal. I bet it's challenging to come up with unified terminology for a global audience. Appreciate your videos! They are super relaxing.
ASMR Japan now that’s an ignorant comment. Enslaved Africans were majority raped in America, thus are not “pure” Africans. Our features are different. You probably should have stopped with your previous comment and not made this one. Why not go ahead and say “ they all look alike”.
I'm African American and I would have to say he did very well. The only advice I would give him is to make sure the lineup is sharp. The haircut was very good but a sharp lineup would have taken the haircut to the next level. If he cuts that texture of hair again, set a good outline with his clippers then clean up the lineup with the razor.
Thank you Victor, for bringing us a new style of hair to be cut. Really enjoyed that long shampoo moment as well as the rest of this titillating experience. The comb and razor combo on Saliuo's beard was amazing. There are plenty of females who would like to attend a barber, but needs someone to intelligently invite her to a barbershop, like Mr. Miwa. I bet this would bring crazy amounts of new viewers and an increase to your Subs. 😁😄😜😁😁
Can't find a barber around my town that gives this level of attention and detail. Damn. I always end up just buzzing it short when I get annoyed with the length/curls.
Mr. Miwa is one of the best and I like the photo's in the beginning. As a wetshaver I always wonder which blades a barber uses (Mr Miwa uses feather which are the sharpest imo)
I've seen all of your videos. But I watch this one too go to sleep almost nightly. As a black man who's intrigued by the Japanese culture, and has visiting Japan on his bucket list, it's good to know I'd be taken care of. From Mr. Miwa then Dora, I'd like to see Esther step up to the challenge next 🙂

Excellent work and video! Now can you get them to cut someone with curly hair.
