I've done cleaning for a real estate agent/apartment landlord and I've also lived in lots of apartments. It's probably different in other states but as far as I could tell up here it's always been the landlord's responsibility to clean the carpets and paint the walls after each move out. They aren't supposed to take it out of your security deposit.
That last one (Tripwires in Urban Combat) has some basis in reality. However, in a "real" situation, you'd attach one end to a grenade pin or something similar so that whoever trips it blows themselves up.

SECONDS after I said that my thief friend chimed in saying her brother (she doesn't have a brother) was an FBI agent and that he could get me my ipod the very next day. I got my ipod back the very next day.
Decided to scare my girlfriend at the time with a handbrake turn on a public road. As I did that someone ran the red light and we didn't die because they missed us narrowly
In the military, a guy in my unit kept a few tampons in his field kit. During a skirmish, he stuffed one into another soldier’s bullet wound. It actually stopped the bleeding until reinforcements arrived. We joked about the wounded guy having a “heavy flow”. 😂😂😂

Back when I was a kid, my autism was pretty damn severe to the point I had zero self awareness. My case worker drove me to a library’s youth talent show. Little me was bored out of her psychotic mind, all she pieced together was that kids go on stage = get big attention and applause. So the little dumba** I was raised her hand as high as she could to go on stage. When I got there, I realized I had zero talents that they wanted. I panicked and looked around and then eyed the wall on the left of me. I was wearing high platform heels. Little crazy me ran at the wall, then placed her feet to walk up it. She actually managed to get a few feet before gravity told her to come back down, so she got the admiration she craved like crazy. To this day I have no fricking clue how the heck I did that, I’m just glad that was the one moment in my k-3 days where I didn’t make myself an absolute joke (I suffered back to back to back to wow where’s the horror novel levels of trauma after for years, so basically I’ve come to a point where I’m endlessly embarrassed by my last year’s actions. Yay me 😓)

They seemed to like a certain room in the house which had a 20 ft ceiling. Trying to piece it together in my mind, I conjured up a way to reach the bees without having to grab them with my bare hands. I simply took our vacuum cleaner and all of its attachments and used that to reach the bees. Turns out, it has the added effect of suffocating the bees and keeps the pheromones from escaping, eliminating the possibility of a swarm. Been using that method on bugs ever since. It's also kind of fun to see them getting flung around inside the vacuum. You should try it.

So i just got a large carabiner, a zip tie, and some string, fed that sucker through my window and voila. Now i chuck my garbage out the window and into the trash can. At one point, I cought something mid drift and flipped my bike. As I was flipping I decided to do as they do in movies and abandon ship. The ATV landed on the tires, no damage, I landed on my feet, no damage, and the engine backfired and stalled. I restarted it and went on my merry way. WITHIN THE SAME 10 GOD DAMN MINUTES, I popped a wheelie and leaded back a bit too far. I (again) jumped off to the side, the ATV landed on the side, scratching the fender, the engine stalled, and I had no scratched. Did I mention I wasn't wearing any protection except for a t-shirt and pants? And to this day, I still ask my self, "how the fuck did I not even get scratched?" This was a few years ago, and death still can't do his job right!
This is one of my aunt's story (we are chilean btw). She had two foster kids (twins), who where pretty much hers, before people could not adopt their foster kids, but recently a law passed to allow it. My aunt was in the process to adopt them, but their bio mom, who never gave a crap about them and was fully ok with her adopting them, had a suddent change of heart and did everything possible to take the kids away (the twins where at least 12 and my aunt has been taking care of them since they were babies). What does my aunt do? In desesperation she sent a card to the fucking CHILEAN PRESIDENT asking for help, weeks later an assistant replied offering help nad gave her all the info she needed to keep the kids, months after she was finally able to legally adopt them, and after all that she got a signed photo of the president in the mail lol
Not my idea, but my dad's: we have a large inflatable pool with an external filter/pump. Bits of dirt, grass, and dead bugs tend to settle on the bottom of the pool and such that they can't be filtered out unless the water is stirred up or something along that line. My dad decided to basically create a bong using a kitchen funnel and a large plastic tube. He used this "bong" to create a vacuum hose that could be run along the bottom of the pool to remove all the debris that settled to the bottom.
When I was little, me and my little brother would always play my older brothers PlayStation. My older brother got a new PlayStation, with a password in it. He kept his PlayStation on... so we would hop on and play. One day, when we turned on his PlayStation, it had a password. We were soo bummed and we were wonder what his password could be. Then I said, maybe it’s 1234. My brother was like that’s stupid, it ain’t it. I told him let’s just try. It worked. I was so impressed with myself that day lol

But also when I was 13 I pretended to have bad allergies (attention seeking ironically) and ended up developing a pollen/pet dander allergy. I'm just really good at speaking things into existence I guess.

I was peeing under an underpass once from a long night of drinking at the bar and walking home when a cop pulls up right next to me, He asked if I was peeing and I said I almost pissed myself and gave him my name and where I was headed. I thought I was going to jail but he just said to get home, just be honest with them and they’ll be nicer. At least my towns cops that is.
I was in my 2010 Ford Focus and I was taking my friends home. We was coming up on a very muddy dirt road and they said “bro your rusty pos focus can’t make this” I turned and said watch. I proceeded to punch it down this dirt road throwing mud everywhere. It got sketchy at one point but I made it and my friends were laughing at my pos focus because you literally couldn’t see any silver anymore
That or the time I was blasting down a different dirt road before everything got muddy and someone got mad and came after me because I accidentally ran over their bag of coke so said fuck it and told myself that I’d rather fuck myself up than to be shot. I proceeded to blast down every dirt road in that area. This car had mykey on it so I could only go 80 but the thing that saved my ass was I jumped a ditch they couldn’t and blasted down the main road back home. Fucked up everything like the shocks rims and broke a sway bar and cracked the exhaust. I fixed the sway bar and the rest worked well enough to keep using so I said fuck it it’s a shitbox 😂 TLDR I jumped a ditch to get away from someone and fucked some shit up on my car but got away
So one day I was about to make waffles so I wanted to add something so I thought what if I put peanut butter and syrup on it. I thought it would taste like crap but boy was I wrong it was the best thing I have ever had I put peanutbutter on the top of the waffle then I put another on top of it and put maple syrup and butter on it.
I was at a pizza place with protected WiFi and my phone was out of data. With nothing better do to, I tried to connect with the password "Pizza". It worked.
In the Army, our LMTV was not turning on, never read the manual on what to do if “your battery is not charged enough to turn the vehicle on and you don’t want to hook up the slave cable” section. I just kept pumping the gas pedal as I turned it on thinking to myself “The Army is cheap enough to design this as a lawn mower, and all I need is to pump it with gas” and it worked. A nearly dead battery, in near 0F temperatures, it just worked. Again, not sure of the science behind it, but it worked for me.
3:27 I was in middle school when something similar happened to me for writing a threatening letter. I said I don't remember writing it, do you have it? They didn't, but I got one day of ISS anyway and my parents pulled me out of school after I've served it. I had two days total in ISS and that woman was HORRIBLE.

I don't think it's necessarily dumb, but at some point I developed the idea of owning a King Dice inspired money bank after getting into the game "Cuphead." My first attempt was to hopefully find a box-shaped bank at a ceramics store, but such an item didn't exist. I then turned to Amazon.com where I found a wooden box with a removable lid that slides off. It worked out perfectly because I was able to paint it with leftover supplies from previous crafting ideas that I found in my storage closet.
I didn't like using ant traps because the moved everywhere. My sister told me that ants come back for their dead, so I put some honey on the bottom of a platic water bottle(the disposal ones) and smashed an ant with an index card, scraping it into the bottle. A shit ton filled it, and once I was done I screwed the cap and threw it out.
It's amazing what you can do with a clipboard and confidence, a name tag and generic uniform helps a lot too. Please just use this info for mild anarchy, not evil stuff. Really works a lot of the time.
So my friend has a gzme and he couldn't figure out how to kill the final boss since his brother (in the game that was the final boss your brother) would heal when he was at one bar of health. The brother fighting the "boss" had a special ability which made him do 3x his regular damage so I thought if you used that and attacked he the boss wouldn't have time to respond. My friend did what I just explained and guess what it worked.
TL:DR, I distracted my mum with Henry stickman dance while my brother sneaked passed into the house Me and my brother tried to sneak in two big packs of sensations crisps. My mum wouldve heard us walk by as the kitchen is open framed so I went through the door quietly, removed my shoes and coat, then said 'hey mum look at this dance' as I turned on Henry stickman distraction dance for 10 hours music. You best believe I started doing the dance, and my brother managed to go by unnoticed because I made my mum face the other way by standing in front of her(the opposite direction of the door frame).

IDK how dumb this is, but in January (2020) I think it was my French culminating task as a freshmen. I didn't have a pencil for whatever reason, so I took a pencil lead I just picked up from somewhere, opened my pen and stuck the lead inside. It worked.

I mean, health insurance here in the States is atrocious and college is way overpriced, but is this really a thing in Germany where poor people aren't allowed a higher education at all, even if they could afford the courses alone? I'd thought Germany of all places would know to treat people well.
One idea that I really want to work is making fully customizable with all materials included online ordered DIY assembly plastic homes that can be expendable think Ikea but you actually have all the materials and a step-by-step digital guide on your smartphone with 24-hour assistance that more or less covers Furnishing and utilities all from the same place and wouldn't cost more then 10 grand not including land for a unit expanding up to 1050 square feet

So one day I was about to make waffles so I wanted to add something so I thought what if I put peanut butter and syrup on it. I thought it would taste like crap but boy was I wrong it was the best thing I have ever had I put peanutbutter on the top of the waffle then I put another on top of it and put maple syrup and butter on it.

In the Army, our LMTV was not turning on, never read the manual on what to do if “your battery is not charged enough to turn the vehicle on and you don’t want to hook up the slave cable” section.
I just kept pumping the gas pedal as I turned it on thinking to myself “The Army is cheap enough to design this as a lawn mower, and all I need is to pump it with gas” and it worked. A nearly dead battery, in near 0F temperatures, it just worked.
Again, not sure of the science behind it, but it worked for me.

I don't think it's necessarily dumb, but at some point I developed the idea of owning a King Dice inspired money bank after getting into the game "Cuphead." My first attempt was to hopefully find a box-shaped bank at a ceramics store, but such an item didn't exist. I then turned to Amazon.com where I found a wooden box with a removable lid that slides off. It worked out perfectly because I was able to paint it with leftover supplies from previous crafting ideas that I found in my storage closet.

I didn't like using ant traps because the moved everywhere. My sister told me that ants come back for their dead, so I put some honey on the bottom of a platic water bottle(the disposal ones) and smashed an ant with an index card, scraping it into the bottle. A shit ton filled it, and once I was done I screwed the cap and threw it out.

So my friend has a gzme and he couldn't figure out how to kill the final boss since his brother (in the game that was the final boss your brother) would heal when he was at one bar of health. The brother fighting the "boss" had a special ability which made him do 3x his regular damage so I thought if you used that and attacked he the boss wouldn't have time to respond. My friend did what I just explained and guess what it worked.

TL:DR, I distracted my mum with Henry stickman dance while my brother sneaked passed into the house
Me and my brother tried to sneak in two big packs of sensations crisps. My mum wouldve heard us walk by as the kitchen is open framed so I went through the door quietly, removed my shoes and coat, then said 'hey mum look at this dance' as I turned on Henry stickman distraction dance for 10 hours music. You best believe I started doing the dance, and my brother managed to go by unnoticed because I made my mum face the other way by standing in front of her(the opposite direction of the door frame).

there was also a fight where we all denyed everything to cover up and the teacher showed us camera footage so i smashed the tape and then denied all of it including destroying the tape

Pardon me being an absolute American here, but can someone explain the post at 17:27 about German college/insurance? What is this whole 'students must have health insurance' thing? Why? How? I mean, health insurance here in the States is atrocious and college is way overpriced, but is this really a thing in Germany where poor people aren't allowed a higher education at all, even if they could afford the courses alone? I'd thought Germany of all places would know to treat people well.
