So if we are taking this drug and replacing Dopamine, why do we still have symptoms? Thank you Marjorie.

Dopamine is not the only neurotransmitter that is affected by Parkinson's disease. Parkinson's is still not fully understood, and there are many other treatment methods for Parkinson's that are used in different cases. However, the lack of dopamine is thought to be one of the main reasons for a lot of the symptoms associated with Parkinson's.
