Abbreviations
ch : chain
ss : slip stitch
sc : single crochet
hdc : half double crochet
dc : double crochet
sc2tog : join two single crochet together
hdc2tog : join two half double crochet together
dc2tog : join two double crochet together
blo : back loop only
What you need
Yarn: For this pattern, I was using milk cotton yarn (5 ply) from China, you can also use DK wight or Light Worsted yarn or any yarn you want
Crochet hook: 3.5 mm or E/4
You will also need Scissors, stitch markers and yarn needle
Size
This tutorial is for 0-3 months (9cm)
Gauge : 7 stitches and 5 rows in hdc to measure 5 X 5 cm, my tension is not tight, to get the same measurement with this pattern, you can change your hook or yarn to obtain the same gauge.

Hi. I have tried making these but am not sure where the black yarn actually goes once the 2 soles are joined together. I have done and redone several times, but I can't get it quite right and I can't see exactly where she puts the hook. Can anyone help me out? I have bought the pattern but it is not any clearer there. Thanks
3:03 when you join the soles with slip stitch, the front part will look like a perfect chain for each stitch (in the video:the left sole on the table), but at the back part (in the video: the sole in my hands) will look like a single loop for each stitch, this single loop is where I start to hdc with black yarn. I’m having a problem with the tongue when you start at hdc2top and sc a total of 7 that goes into the next sc after last hdc2tog
Yes,exactly, if you start at sc before hdc2tog, the position of the tounge will go a little right, you can try it and differ which one is the best position for the tongue 😊 I’ve tried it and I think the best position is when we start at hdc2tog 😊🙏🙏🙏🙏

Hello..I'm super confused on round 2 after the 10 sc..it's says hdc2tog comma then hdc2...what is the difference between hdc2tog and hdc2?
Hdc2tog means you join two hdc together(decrease), but hdc2 means you do hdc normally twice, I hope this will help 😊

You can make the video slower or faster as you need 😊
At the top right of the video there is a gear symbol. If you click that it gives you some options, click video speed. You can make it go very very slow if you need to see a particular part. Just backing up the video over and over can help a lot 😊
