    Thank you for the wonderful tutorial. I have tried in the past to make soles (from different patterns and tutorials) but they have always looked deformed. Now they look the way they should. You explained things so well.

    I am thrilled with this method. I am going to try it and use it. I know how to do foundation chain but never use it for soles. And those gaps in 1st round killing me when use common chain for beginning. Thanks!!! 😘😍

    Love your video, it was so easy to follow. But I have a question, the pattern I'm using calls for 31 stitches at the end of the sole where yours has 38 stitches. Is there a way I can still use my pattern with 38 stitches?

      There is a free version of a newborn size of this pattern on Ravelry. Newborn Booties by Paula Daniele. You can adjust the size using the same pattern up sizing your hook up or down and using a different yarn weight. There are a very clear series of videos connected to this pattern as well.

    Great tutorial, but could you include a written pattern and chart please. I get the idea of a foundation crochet, but not everyone can do it. I’m one of those that never learned. I tried learning from videos and it totally confused me. I will have to try your technique to see if I can do it.
