      Daro - This is half the truth. The video shows the limits of a pressure differential siphon.
      A siphon can also work in a vacuum where there is no pressure differential. In that case it works because of the cohesive forces in the liquid. The amount of liquid/cohesive forces in the outlet must be greater than the amount of liquid/cohesive forces in the inlet. This is where the tank and outlet pipe size is critical. The outlet must be at least 3 times larger.
      The working examples I’ve seen also include a standpipe which I believe is for eliminating air accumulation in the discharge pipe which would also compromise the outlet.

      Sao bạn nói họ lừa khi 2 hệ thống khác nhau? Trong video này ko có bộ phận chống thoát nước lúp bê, bởi vậy khi đầu ra cao hơn mực nước trong phần ống hút đầu vào sẽ bị chảy hết nước xuống hồ nên nước không chảy là đúng thui

    it will work just lower down the bottle, suction it downward both hose keep inside aquarium the air pressure will push the water up out to the 2nd hose going into aquarium, adjust the nozzle to last for an hour at least...

    Comecei a ver esses experimentos e fiquei um pouco entusiasmado afinal a ideia tinha uma lógica, se levasse em conta o peso da agua em um recipiente maior do que a mangueira de condução. Teoricamente o peso da agua em um local maior é um pouco maior e se considerar um lugar fechado onde se possa criar o vácuo, o próprio peso da agua conseguiria sugar a agua que esta em um lugar mais baixo. mas... o seu experimento não mostrou esse resultado. Obrigado por mostrar o verdadeiro resultado do experimento.

    I've seen many of these in action, I think the problem here is it's all about water volume/pressure in the tank. That bottle has little water resulting in little vacuum. Also, the draw pipe should be smaller than the out flow pipe. Try it with a large drum and you may find the results are different. It's all about the physics.

      I was thinking the same, that the weight of the water of the water leaving was pulling more water enough to draw up water. Cutting that short results in less drawing power. Plan on testing this later, cuz that would be a fun thing to have

    Water pressure doesn't work by volume but height (difference). Added vacuum won't add anything into the equation since the vacuum also caused by the gravity force pulling the water down. Bigger force applies on the other end since it has more height.

      A little taller container might make eternal water flow without electricity. Try 2 inches taller like a liter soda bottle. Great project to do with my daughter. Thank you also for the video: No electricity and adapting air pump for saving fish. Great idea.

      i made a coil out of same size . coil length is 5 times length of uptake line. the coil acheives higher velocity and longer path to prevent bubbles getting in . still runs well. the coil also has more enertial potential to keep system running at high flow. the coil takes less height as well . i lift my pool water 3 feet above pool and drop it back in. large unit w 50 gal drum and 3/4" coil.

    Your straw must be at the very top and at the very bottom and the water must be fully filled and let it make the tank full until it is fully non stop .

      A siphon can work because of pressure differential which is most of what the “disproving” shows. A siphon can also work in a vacuum where there is no pressure differential. In that case it works because of the cohesive forces in the liquid. The amount of liquid/cohesive forces in the outlet must be greater than the amount of liquid/cohesive forces in the inlet. The tank and pipe size is critical. The outlet must be bigger. At least 3 times bigger.

    Hì.xem hết video mới hiểu.e Xin chia sẻ xe máy hay con gọi là con ngựa sắt của e hỏng kim xăng nên rất nhiều lần e được dắt xe giữa đường .hì hì. e hay gọi ae giúp đỡ bằng cách truyền a95 .bọn e chỉ dùng ống ty ô dài khoảng 50cm và ko cần cái gọi là bơm chìm hỗ trợ .hì.e rất thích mô hình của ad.😃😃😃
