The day I became a gamer is when I got an Xbox 360 for Christmas when I was maybe 5 or 6, It came with Soulcaliber and Gears of War 2, I loved it I had to replace it twice. I think I got a PS2 before that, I also played my grandma's Wii a lot, good times

I love dlc I'm like a crack monkey over that shiz I be like Ooooo girl honey gimme dat dlc oooooo mo story mo characters omg mo weapon ooooooooooo how muh how muh you wan!? Games without dlc make me wanna pass out in a very precarious location with no safety protocols established whatsoever. Granted some of my faves are whole games but still. Dlc adds more to my life and frankly possibly even my lifespan. Idk. I could die while typing this. I could also go on waaaaay too long without ever proving a genuine point of belief with myself. . . The gamecube holds a special place in my heart. I grew up playing it and still have all the games
this was the best part of my child hood in 2004-2005,i will never forget the first time i played resident evil 4 on my silver gamecube, i also had a gba player attatched to the bottom.
I remember playing on my cousin’s GameCube and I was playing Chicken Little: The Video Game. Great memories.

Ah, man. This brings me back in my childhood when I was younger, Melee was definitely one of my favorite Gamecube games, along with Animal Crossing, Mario Party 6, Mario Party 7, Mario Kart Double Dash and Wario World.
No matter what generation you're from or which console you played, having the boys round for some Smash Bros. will never not be an amazing experience.
My older brother and I played on our purple GameCube a long time ago, this video has so much nostalgia. Smash bros melee is the best smash to date for sure
The Gamecube was so cool back in the day. I was amazed at how small the device was and the compression they used to fit full games on Mini DVD. The Gamecube was more powerful than a PS2 but weaker than an Xbox.

Ah yes. When the Gamecube was literally the hottest and lastest Nintendo thing around. There was a time when that was real. Seems so long ago, but I still remember the hype revolving that magical little cube.
To this day, I still LOVE playing my Nintendo Gamecube. Wished someone would make a portable handheld device where I could just insert my Gamecube Games into the system and play my Gamecube games on the go. So disappointed that the Nintendo Switch doesn't have backwards compatibility to let me play Gamecube and Wii games as well.

Somebody gave me a GameCube for free a couple of weeks ago because it was broken, I just fixed it up, bought a memory card and cords, I actually had TTYD alone with a GameCube controller (in hopes of finding a way to use them), so this week I finally got everything ready and played some good ol' TTYD.

Early 2020’s: I miss the early 2000’s. The Gamecube was the shining beacon for my childhood and that time period.
I remember that in early and mind 2000's all the TVs and DVDs were silver, maybe that's the reason why there was a silver Gamcube and a silver PS2.

Right? Back then, developers also did their best to create the game with as minimal flaws as possible. But the fact that the majority of games weren't made perfectly flawless is what brought the subculture of speedrunners who find these mistakes. Crazy!

Late 70s/Early 80s - Wood Paneling
Late 80s/Early 90s - White/Gray Plastic
Late 90s/Early 00s - See-thru Plastic, Black Plastic
Early to Mid 00s - Chrome/Silver
Mid 00s to Present - Glossy Black
I used to have a CRT that matched my platinum Gamecube & PS2 too. I recently picked up another great CRT for cheap, but it's black, not platinum.

Christmas 2005. I got a GameCube with Smash Bros and Shark Tale for Christmas. I had never heard of smash bros before - I had visited family friends in Edmonton months prior and they had a GameCube and it was so fun but they didn’t have smash (idk why???). Anyways come Dec 25, I open my gift and it’s the console with those two games. I think I touched shark tale for 10 min but I played Melee for 15+ hours that whole day. To this day one of my favourites days of my 21 years of existence. Now I try and recreate that nostalgia with my switch and Ultimate on my cheap flat screen in my basement apartment but it doesn’t beat the early 2000s
