Prehistoric Sicily

Sicily's Prehistory is as vast as it is fascinating. From cave dwellings to rich hordes of ceramics the island offers fine rewards to those patient enough to trace its path. Journeying to Sicily's remote and hidden prehistoric sites is often a pleasure in itself. And on arrival the visitor will frequently find they have the site to themselves.

As with all of the previous Esplora lectures on Sicily, this one is fascinating and really brings home the VERY long history of this wonderful island. Thank you Damian for such an educational series of lectures. Unfortunately only one more to come in the current series. Hopefully there might be another series in the future

the NATO bomb testing on Sardinian that continues has caused terrible mutations birth defects in the goats and sheep including one eye in the centre of the head and the death of many local shepherds and radiation related cancers locally. Maybe an ancient cave dweller survived being born with a severe deformity from exposure to a high level of natural radiation in a cave.
