Thanks for the review. Just a quick correction, on the bottom of the unit it has a standard USB type B-Jack connector so this is 5-Volt DC , NOT 12-Volt 🙂
Thank you for this excellent informative video review. I have considered one of these for years but just haven't gotten around to it yet. Will definitely get one this year, thanks again
Nice product. I was going to purchase one, but when I see the price I found they were out of my budget. Guess I will have to check my SWR the old fashion way. Great videos as usual. Have a great break and lots of qrp contacts. David
Bought a AA-35, easy to use piece of kit. For higher frequencies the prices of Rigexperts are steep, therefore I use a cheap nanovna, bit fussy and both are good enough for me.
Reduced summer pricing at Dxengineering! Love it. Adequate screen size and UI is much better than with the Sticks unless you enjoy pushing multiple tiny buttons and enjoy the tiny screen size. BT to scan SWR at the antenna while you’re adjusting it is great!
Now that l am retired, l have just bought one of these, l think a nice science hobby such as antenna modelling should keep me out of trouble. Bearing in mind there is no such thing as the perfect antenna, l believe it may be fun, to see how close l can get.👍
Thanks for the review… I’m wanting an analyser as I’m rather interested in chucking a bit of wire in the air and seeing what comes about and this would be helpful… I was looking at the Comet too but it costs a lot… I’m getting back into radio as life took me away back in the 80s and so much has changed/ developed… and yes, I kept registering my station call sign as I knew that eventually circumstances would allow me back to it. So thanks again for the video posts…let us know the QRP results specially how low in power what antenna and how far you managed to go. Best wishes to everyone.
I like the idea of owning a RigExpert, especially considering where it's manufactured as I would like to give them support. But Gosh, it's so darned expensive! So I use a TinyVNA. It washes out in sunlight, and doesn't work I'm certain nearly as well. But it does work on a tight budget, as Santa Claus always seems to "miss" our house every year... All the Best! 73 DE W8LV BILL
How do I get service for my AA-230Zoom? I have emailed the US/Canada office several times and no answer. I have also emailed the Ukraine office and no answer. Please my RigExpert needs service. I can't get ant response from Rigexpert.
I’m in army signals so I guess I’d be both an amateur & a professional, and you wouldn’t get professional spec (or God forbid Mil-Spec) for anything close to what a RigExpert costs

Totally correct..
Also is it rig expert or "rig master""?
Thank you for this excellent informative video review.

Many thanks and glad it has helped you.
I’ve used the older A-600 but as I’m HF only I’m about to buy the RigExpert AA-35 Zoom, thanks for the video
I bought this same unit this summer and its great! I don’t know how to use all the features but I’m learning. Thanks for the video Peter.
Glad it was helpful!
Every ham should have or have access to one of these gadgets. They are a must.
I just bought one of these today, This video has helped a great bit. Tomorrow I will access more of the features. Thank you for your video!
Glad it was helpful!

Congratulations! I am glad that you use Ukrainian equipment. Very reliable. Simple interface. Wide functionality. A good thing for a radio amateur.
Just got one about 3 weeks ago good piece of kit. Easy to use and works well

Cheers Bill. Ham radio is all about using what you have and can afford.
Yes, that was what I was going to do. Get a nano vna. But our radio said I could borrow one.
Bought the AA-35 from you today.
Many thanks. It’s a great invetment.
Nice review! Can this device measure the resonant frequency of a crystal oscillator (~70 MHz)?
Great review, thanks!🇺🇸😃
why is the frequency showing khz instead of Mhz can it be changed ?
Top Class Videos.
Greetings from Switzerland
Is size the major difference between the 230 Zoom and the Stick 230?
…… and the display size but I have never had one to check.

First step is go to the dealer you purchased it from.
Why don't you guys sell the Nano or LiteVNA
👍
Rig-expert is all about the name and not technology. The current pricing along makes is a gold plated waste of non-professional test kit.
Can you suggest a less expensive and equally capable alternative?
RigExpert has multiple models. The low end models have reasonable cost. They are all well made, capable instruments.
Definitely not for penny pinchers. 😂

Sounds great Peter but it does not speak so no good for white stick operators!!!!
Yes, I agree. That would be a great help to many hams. Maybe it will come.
Nice but very expensive !!
