    Don't order from Bush Mountain. They don't keep the frames in stocks despite what their website misleads you to believe. They took my payment over 25 days ago and not a single text, email or call giving me any clue about eta. Jack gives me excuses and runaround about how he's not the frame guy and Gary doesn't return calls. They got my funds but no clear answers or the actual product. They're selling inventory that isn't made yet by the manufacturer.

      That is terrible! I am so sorry you ve been dealing with that. Their service used to be so much better. It would only take me a week to get my order. I haven't ordered for quite some time though, so it's good to know what current orders face. I will be pinning your comment for others to see. Thank you for sharing your experience.

      OMG I ordered last August and they billed immediately. I know expected a delay as I know Dan the Rolaframe maker is busy but had no clue it would take from August till March. Gary took over the Rolaframe part from BM and he has nothing but excuses. I just got a partial order and am still waiting on the rest of the order. I hate to say it but he lies and is nothing but excuses. I placed the order in August and he blamed Dan from Rolaframe for the delay and then I found out from Dan he didn't send his order till January. Apparently Dan is not going to use BM anymore because of this.He is the worst and I am sorry I ordered from him too!

      @@diannekorber9425 glad to know it's not Dan himself that's the problem. It looks like a great product that does not need Gary ruining the reputation of. Maybe I'll end up with one anyway so I can finally do the cross stitch I intended to do during covid lock down. 🙄. You're very correct about Gary, mismanagement and excuses. I finally got my refund after several angry calls. Same song and dance you are getting now. Hope you end up happy. 🙂.

    I'm in love with these scroll rods! I've attached fabric every which way, but this beats them all with a stick. Literally.

    Thank you so much! Exactly what I was hoping to see. I have a chatelaine in progress as well, and I’m just not happy with my current set up. These look like a great alternative to try.

    This was so great! I have thought about purchasing the RolaFrame rods and this was a great video to show how to use them!!

      Thank you!! I absolutely love mine! This size set up is a monster though. I really prefer the 18" rods with the 12" end bars!

    Christine, you are my hero! My just a thought frames (which I love for everything else!) are too heavy for my Lowery without the large frame adapter. I will have to try these!

      I do love them! I've heard the JAT frames are amazing too. I just haven't tried any yet. I have a video scheduled for tomorrow that shows the RolaFrame in my Lowery (and a Ks Creations) stand, since some people asked for that. So you can see how that big old monstrous frame looks in it!

    Would you do a video showing yourself stitching on your RolaFrame? Do you use a stand if so what kind?

    • @StitchALLTheThings
      @StitchALLTheThings  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Absolutely! I use either a Lowery stand to hold them, or a K's Creation floor stand that a friend bought me. I will put a video up next week!

      Stitch ALL The Things , I have a 46 inch k’s creations stow away , I had it custom made, my question is does it matter which way you roll the fabric, I do it the opposite than you, and thanks for the tip by loosening the fabric every night, didn’t know that

    I have a 45 inch rolaframe. It’s hard for me to get it really tight.

    Nice video! Good to know you use your Lowery with this large of Rollaframe. Mine is about 24” and works with my Lowery in my Lazyboy. I am thinking of getting a couple more at some point.

      I stitch in a reclining sofa and these are just fantastic for that! The larger 15" side bar has caused me a bit of problem when rotating it, since it rubs the arm and my husband about freaked out that I was going to wear a hole in the arm (insert rolling eyes here). It was a valid point, so I just grabbed a towel and laid it over the arm and that gets the brunt of the end of the side bar rubbing the arm when I flip it over to the back.

      Ha! I can relate! We got the Lazy boys on Good Friday and I got my Lowery for Christmas. I have to have my Lowery arm high enough to clear the arm of the recliner and low enough see through my LED magnifier light. I put a guard over the arm so I don’t rub the fabric on the armrest. I think these are first world problems...

    What do you attach this rolla frame to?? What size rolla frame would you suggest for a 18 x 27 in. piece?? Thank you Christine...LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!

    • @StitchALLTheThings
      @StitchALLTheThings  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Karen! I use my Lowery floor stand, or a K's Creation floor stand I was gifted to hold the scroll frames. If 18" is the width of the piece, then I would get a 19" frame. If 27" is the width, I would go with a 28" frame. I usually try to get one inch larger than the width of the piece I want to load up. I hope that helps! 💖
