From the thumbnail I was getting turtle vibes
It's one of those ships, that looks like if it was remade in the 32nd century, a lot of programmable matter would be used to make it's neck and wings move.
Looks more Orion than Romulan, but it's okay, and could be a pirate ship or a renegade ship.
This makes me feel like this was originally built/designed during the Klingon romulan alliance
Like another commenter, this would look better with a longer neck and head, just a little longer.
The Ferengi stole a cargo gunship and remade it into a faux Romulan thing using Stargate as inspiration.
It's one of those ships where it would look cooler upside down with the shiny bits facing out, better than the Shinzau.
Armored gunship though maybe it's better that the pokey bits are underslung, but still it's in space! It doesn't need to guard just the top and the engines, but the whole ship.
Te black sections are obviously a shuttle bay.
Stargate, lol.
I think I like all the details on this, but not so much the ship as a whole. It's like a better ship got stretched out and re-molded into a more awkward ship. The "bird feather" motif here actually kind of looks more insectoid from certain angles. The top looks kind scarab like, the bottom moth like.
I do think the deck layout on this is pretty interesting. Having a hard time figuring out how the rows of windows on the top of the ship relate to the interior deck alignment. Is the deck itself curved? I like the compact little stack of decks that run down the interior of the wing.
I'd like to see some of the surface textures and overall vibe applied to a turtle themed starship for another species. Like maybe Bolian ships are turtle themed
I want an avian inspired warship inspired by the head of a shoebill. Talk about inimtidation XD
Feels like a corp. of engineers ship.
It lacks a head. Romulan ships tend to have a head where the front of the ship is a bit bulky and looks like a bird head.
it's a test bed ship? we have a generation or two of upgrades, plus some alien tech from who knows where. lets make sure they work together before wasting money on the biggest ship there is.
