    What's different in how he does it ?

    • @Spychopunk2077
      @Spychopunk2077 ปีที่แล้ว

      this man took elbow to another level, strike to kill, as if he saw his opponent not human in the ring just some thing to smash, and that is perfect, people just hate his elbows because they can't handle him.

    • @NickDoyle
      @NickDoyle ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Wondered the same, another commenter pointed out the Thai elbow is more to cut or slice which rings true. The more Thai style, I’ve been told be loose light and fast. Nathan’s are big power shots; whole body behind the motion, directed into (not across) the opponent.
      I watched one video of his where he explicitly touches on not going for a quick one-two because it lacks power, but prefer pausing after the one to reset your stance for power with the two.

    there are three reasons why elbows are prohibited in almost all fight sports: 1) they're fight-enders that bring proceedings to a close much too soon 2) even when they don't end the fight, the volume of blood produced is grotesque 3) they are very much potentially deadly.

    • @joshuadavis5899
      @joshuadavis5899 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      So knee and kick to the face is fine and elbows are supposedly more dangerous? They just open more cuts but in my opinion they're less deadly than a clean roundhouse or flying knee to the head for example. What do you think?

    • @volund6280
      @volund6280 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@joshuadavis5899 elbows are more dangerous and it's more easy to land an elbow than a flying knee or a headkick. You can't dodge an elbow too

    • @JT-xb9vi
      @JT-xb9vi ปีที่แล้ว +3

      What fight sports are you talking about Muay Thai and MMA both use them kickboxing and boxing don't. Can't think of any other fight sports as you call them. Everything else can be grouped in those 4 sports, please don't say karate or taekwondo those are point fighting and it's not really a fight if every time someone lands a good shot they stop and reset. Can tell you've never been in the ring and if these things are grotesque to you why are you here talking about it? Also you realise more people die in boxing than any other combat sport, are you going to tell me it's from illegal elbows lol
