This was the single best speech I've heard from Oprah ever. As a black woman I can't express how affirming and motivational this was. I'm saving this. I've been motivated by her work, words and speeches but this is the absolute best.

I love her, l love what she says, what she has to say and what she stands for. I'm so proud of her as a person, as a woman. I look up to her and want to be like her. A person that makes a difference. That touches lives and transforms them into someone better with just her presence alone. I'm not black but blackness may run through my veins, but what do I know. What does she has to say of the many black African that have come to the USA in the last few decades, that look down on African American, thinking themselves better because...? I want to know.

I must say that...I ABSOLUTELY KNOW through family documents and records that my Surname of the Brown family name was and are for over 200 years that my family WERE NOT, ARE NOT AND NEVER WILL BE SLAVERISTS. We were and still are DIRT POOR!! As we toiled with the African Americans for life and most certainly for freedom!! Even so Lord COME QUICKLY!!!
