Battle of the lenses! FUSE vs REVANT!

- I ordered 2 new sets of lenses from different companies for the exact same style sun glasses, because I had 2 as it was cheaper years back to buy a nrw pair than replace the lenses from NATIVE EYE WEAR.
Here's my thoughts.

yup.. this video should be labeled Battle of the Shipping time.. didn't really compare the lenses..

Brah, you didn't even compare the lenses. You just kept blathering about shipping. Spent 9 minutes waiting for a comparison that never actually occurred.
I'm looking for a pair of replacement lenses for my Costa's. Both of these company's are what I'm looking at so the title of your video seemed perfect. Your video explained shipping troubles and little more. From what I can tell you didn't even try them on to compare lenses. No follow up video either. What a disappointment.
flyguy30263- I apologize. While the fuse had the issues I've found that even though the reflective front is blue the coloring through from your eyesight is actually very brown and darker than what I would've thought. The revants- even though bright red/orange have the opposite effect and seem very blue when wearing.
Over the last 8 month's I've fallen quite behind on follow ups including spendy boots as requested and new puppy stuff. Got life busy sorry.

I ordered regular Fuse a few days ago, but i have not received them yet, and i will be able to comment about their quality soon, I kind of wish i had ordered the top quality now.

My replacement Revant lenses were VERY difficult to pop into my Ray Ban Wayfarer frames. I took a fine "flat metal file" to the edges all around and that help a lot. The Revant clear lens had a modest tint and were good quality.
Videos like these are the reason why the dislike button needs to stay. DISLIKE

Well, this video made my decision to buy Fuse Lenses easier. The fact that Fuse Lenses is proactive about replacing defective products for free is a huge bonus in my book. Most companies (99%?) wouldn't go that extra mile. I'm very happy with the replacement lenses I received from Fuse for my Serengetis. 👍Otherwise I was hoping to find out which lenses were preferable. Instead there was a lot of useless info about shipping and that was about it. Can't get those 10 minutes back. 😆

@@danielfinger6223 Yep... have three pair now. I ordered one set and they didn't fit like the others. I contacted Fuse, let them know what happened and they had a set made to the specs they had used on a previous order and had them shipped immediately no charge. The replacements fit like a glove. Fuse customer service is outstanding. They'll have my business going forward. 👍
I find Serengeti glass lesnes to be the best above all, simply top notch, please how do find Fuse lenses against Serengeti (in terms of optical quality)
@@simodahed I have four pair, one that I bought new with the original lenses and three I picked up on eBay with scratched lenses that I replaced with various type Fuse lenses. I'd have to say that the Serengeti lens is probably the best overall, but the Fuse lenses are very, very close. BTW, if your car has HUD (head up display) you'll want a non-polarized lens. Hope that helps!
I have revant lenses for my straight jackets and fuel cell and they've been great as far as I'm concerned as good as oakley and I've had oakley sunglasses for more than a decade.
I ordered the fuse replacement vonzipper roller lences and it doesn't fit its a little to big
FWIW I had a set of Fuse lenses that didn't quite fit as well. I contacted them and they went out of their way to make a pair that fit perfectly. I sent a photo of the ones that didn't fit (had a gap at the top) and they were able to sort it out right away. Excellent customer service. 👍
Buyer BEWARE! The coating will pit within a years time and revant won’t stand by lenses where the coating is compromised. 60 days to a year of standard quality is what your paying for.
Quick question, the gift card included with fuse would allow you to get more lenses basically for free??
No feedback on how the lenses worked just on ordering process. Disappointed in video.
Unfortunately revant doesn't make lenses for the Oakley shocktube so I had to go to fuse to get those lenses from my shocktube. Revant uses to make their own sunglasses but stopped.
I just ordered some of the Amp fuse for my shocktube...how were the lenses you ordered?
I ordered Revant lenses for my Oakley Twenty XX (2000) in stealth black elite. They came from Oregon. I sent them back because they were not dark enough. I reordered the same stealth black lenses in regular polarized (because elite variation is lighter for clarity) and they are being shipped out of Reno, Nevada. 🤷
I've got Revant and Fuse and like both. The Fuse got to me in 3 days

Mike Hunt- so the blue tinted ones actually look brown looking through them and don't stay in the frames very well at all.
The red/orange ones look really blue looking through them and haven't popped out once by accident. I forgot which is what brand.

I got my Revo H2O Stealth Python Sunglasses back in the day during the summer of 1985. Still wearing them today. My RayBan Diamond Hard I bought in 1992.
Fuse lenses are terrible company. They create a shipping label in ebay to trick customers in thinking the item has been shipped. Bought some for some Spy Sunglasses of mine and still waiting on the lenses. No shipping updates or replies to emails. Unfortunately going to have to open a case with Ebay to get my money back.
Bought some lenses for some other sunglasses from Ikon and got them within a week.
Pretty disappointing experience with Fuse. Would never recommened them.

We need to know about the quality of lenses compared to each other. That's suppose to be the whole point of the video. Instead you only talk about shipping. Hope there's better content next time.
