Abstract reasoning requires an ability to identify patterns amongst different abstract shapes where irrelevant and distracting material is often present. The presence of irrelevant or distracting material or information can sometimes lead to incorrect conclusions. Abstract reasoning tests, therefore, measure a candidate’s ability to change track, critically evaluate and generate hypotheses, and to query judgments as they progress through the test.

Q8: B front 2 dots, 3 dots on top &4 dots on right side
Q10: D black arrow top w/ white arrow in middle right side
Q11: B left side=white sm arrow inside black square; right side white arrow next sequence is in the bottom center middle

In Q11 it seems like it is B, but there is problem with the central white arrow. It goes up, and it should go down.

Take another look at Q4 and see if you can spot why I would say the correct answer is A

Q6. is actually a combination of A and B. The line in A is properly placed but the dots are not while the dots in B are properly placed but the line is not.
Q6, the correct answer is A. This is because, the dots are in the correct place to be the front of the cube. The line the correct direction with the arrow at the end of the line point downwards; then the arrow on the top is the correct direction of where it should be pointing.

@careerVidz please I do not understand the second pattern during your explanation, I mean the arrow positioned by the right hand side ,the part that contains triangles as well.

I think you are incorrect in Question 11 since it is talking about the pattern in the black-shaded white arrow pointing to the right, and the white-shaded black arrow pointing to the right which would give me the answer of A or B, but I most likely think it is B.

Hi, Thank you for your answers, 5 out of 7 here, take another look at Q10 and see if you can get D as the correct answer. Give Q11 another look at and see if you can spot why I would say there is no answer to this one.
@@CareerVidz in the first colum, the white arrow change position in each square (up, down, medium, up ...) that's mean that the answer is going to be down as the next possition. and in the second column the white arrow changes in the positions, medium, up, last and down ... so the next one must be medium again.

@@CareerVidz hi teacher, in the Q:11 the answer it can't be A, I think that is B but teache, I have a doubt with the position of the white arrow in the second column, it doesn't look down but up, in the same position we have the answer D, that the arrow black and white are changed their possition.
Please, can you have a look and let me know if is possible that the figure can change sideways but in the same position in the exercise.
As for Q11, no answer seems to fit. A) and C) have two black arrows, B) has two white arrows pointing up, and D) has a white arrow pointing right. The pattern is not continued as usual. What would the correct answer be? Do the arrows in D) switch color maybe? The directions seem to be correct then. Still seems off though. I would simply say none of the these, if that was an option.

The correct answer on question 11 is none of the choice but the letter B is very near in the correct answer

Q11 A admittedly I did need to pause, the left row was fairly straight forward, as was the rotation in the squares to the right, but it was the black arrow bottom right was obvious, so that eliminated D
If I took the white arrow at the top and moved it counter clockwise, it would be at the bottom left, and therefore C wouldn't be right..
"B" has two up facing arrows, and no other square does, that left A as the option. I guess after a full rotation they have a color switch

I have serious doubts that any of the four figure choices for test question eleven are correct. Figure B looks good except for the fact that both of its white arrows on the right are pointing upwards, unlike those in the above boxes ----which all show one arrow pointing up and one arrow pointing down.
