2:32 The car was not held together by the wiring. Bugatti threaded wire thru all fasteners as mean to keep them torqued, at the time there was not a secure method to prevent fasteners loosening due to vibration.

I have this model, and the detail is pretty amazing. The early models had far too much camber to the front wheels; I managed to carefully bend the axle a bit to correct this. If I am nit-picking, the spokes on the wheels should be set further back from the rims. The chrome is also a bit too shiny- the real car used nickel. But I am very pleased with the model.

philip siddall I've heard about the camber issue. I am happy to hear you were able to fix yours. I hope you are enjoying yours as much as I am mine.

bugatti copied the engine design from miller (in the us) and pursang from south america is the one that makes the replicas

Not for the T35. He copied the Miller's twin cam head for the later T51; the rest of the engine was unchanged.

That is a thing of beauty!. i make classic scale car videos & could showcase your work in an upcoming video if you like. I am not asking for cars, I can take photos off your videos etc. All I need is your permission. Please review my videos & let me know if you are ok with that.

Not GERMANY it's made in China.

@moijmemarre - All the model's components are made in Germany as well as the paint jobs. The models are only assembled in China under careful supervision by CMC employees. They are assembled in China because the labor charges are so low there that it is the only way to keep production costs down. Even though these models are still expensive, they would be out of the reach of most everyone if they were assembled in Germany. I am very familiar with CMC and am fortunate to own more than twenty of their wonderful creations.
