You should have done a before and after drive-by with the camera sitting on the sidewalk in front of your place. That way, we could all have really noticed the amount of drop as you cruised on by. ✌️😎👍
I love the fact you’re teaching the younger generation good start but you must’ve went to the same auto shop and high schools I did because that’s exactly how I was taught
lower Cs lift Ks lol. I had the same issue, but in the end what's lifting a 2wd gonna do for you? vs lowering it and getting better on road performance and mpg?
Looks easy as shit, but I reckon without a doubt some language was edited out !! A few hammer to body parts activities usually open the air for language. Would defo be reading the manual on this! American trucks destroy the shit we have here in Australia!
Hello. Any idea what shocks were used. Having a hard time finding for this 6/8 drop. I purchased the truck with this 6/8 already installed but no shocks. Thanks Jr
Nice job with the video and the lowering kit. I just lowered the same truck but I only went 3"and 5" in the rear. does the housing hit in the rear, is there enough clearance with out cutting a hole in the bed floor?
Hi mark. Yeah there is enough clearance. my tires are big so they do rub on the front inner fender when I hit a dip. I need to go with a smaller tire. Lowering shocks are required for better ride quality.
73-91 Chevy C3500 Deluxe lowering kit 6” Front / 8” rear. From western chassis in Corona, CA. The front spindles are machined perfect. I did had an issues with wrong parts.
Hello. Thank you for your question. The geometry of the suspension changes. The drop spindles are machined to install the tie rod from the bottom to address the issue.
More people need to video their stuff like you do right to the point no dumb intros you get an A+ sir.. and now I'm going to hit the Subscribe button
Right kind of weird how they were barely any fucking Dooley videos on TH-cam

2 thumbs up for your daughter being out in the shop with you and not afraid of getting dirty
Now this is a nice lowered truck. It's not slammed, the wheels aren't oversized. Very nice, indeed.
looks beautiful. thank you for sharing. I have been wanting a single cab dually square for years.
Great video, hardly any talking and more showing how to do things. Great job
Hell yeah!!!!! Just get down & do it!!!! We dont need a freakin 20m speech before getting down!!! Sweet ass ride
I’m wanting to do this with my c20 and this made it looks way more achievable thankyou!!
Gorgeous!! I just picked up a Single Cab DRW C30 and that looks so perfect!!
Amazing truck!! I enjoyed the old jazz playing in your shop!

Have a 85 gmc K3500 single cab, been looking for a 2wd to drop… your rig is outstanding af. 👍
Those 1981 - 1982 Chevy & GMC C/K series models with the single headlamps are super rare nowadays.
Hi. I actually converted from dual headlamps to a single headlamp. I aligned and welded the light buckets to the radiator supports.
Sounds HEALTHY.. badass

I bought this kit and had a problem with the front springs
My 86 suburban had a 454 new 5.3 LS and I guess because of the lighter motor I had these issues
Can you compare its height and length next to a land rover defender pickup?
What size front shocks? Part # please
Nice!!!
dope as shit homie !!
Nice job - quick question did your kit include the new bolt for the leaf pack? I have the same kit and mine did not?
Did you figure out the answer to this? I am pickup up an identical C30 and have to do this!
@6:10 Why did you put the tie-rod on the bottom instead of the top side?
Hello. Thank you for your question. The geometry of the suspension changes. The drop spindles are machined to install the tie rod from the bottom to address the issue.
Why? Are you like 16? I hope you added a cold air intake and fart can muffler!
What year?
You had me cringing when you were cutting the frame.... I wouldn't have done it
Need more low
