1:10 is a great example of how pros play versus how amateurs play. Rather than get greedy and try a cute shot, he bumped it up and erred on the side of being 40 feet long…but still on the green and putting. So many amateurs would have duffed that shot trying pitch it tight, leaving themselves again short-sided and facing another tricky pitch. Aberg walks away with a ho hum 5. The amateur walks away with at least a 6.
Just a suggestion to the editor of the videos sometimes people don’t know the winner of the tournament. Drama of seeing what happened in the tournament down the stretch in the most crucial Moments make sport exciting. Instead of making a thumbnail/title with the winner of the tournament choose a neutral photo that doesn’t hint at who wins. Then show every shot from the top 2 -4 players in contention in chronological order. That way everyone that didn’t get to see it live can watch the drama unfold without knowledge of what the result is. Seeing what Fitzpatrick did well/where he made mistakes is also of interest to many people. I would love that! Please consider trying it and seeing the response.
European golf crowds are so cool. Appreciate and loud but not overbearing or childish with stupid cringe outbursts after the shots.
