Not sure if you guys cares but if you guys are bored like me during the covid times then you can watch pretty much all of the latest series on instaflixxer. I've been binge watching with my brother during the lockdown :)

Season 3 really shows TFS going above and beyond in giving us something that stands as a quality product in its own right, rather than just a bunch of jokes. The show is now retaining every bit of the drama from DBZ, while still being hilarious. I seriously don't know how they do it.
trunks big moment in a couple episodes got me more pumped than it did watching the original. was amazing XD
I think part of the reason is because they genuinely love and respect the property.
The source property I mean. I mean after all, they do give credit to the rightful creators/owners of the source material and ask people to support the official realise.

this is why he is the best out of tfs, he knows how to be very funny, serious and threatening at the same time, when other characters are only funny or only threatening (like frieza which wasn't really that funny)
and 16 it's my second favorite
I can't see how broly or buu can surpass cell in tfs.
Freeza was scary as fuck, which is great, but still I wish they would give him more funny/epic lines. But i understand they wanted him to stay in character since original Freeza was always polite and wouldn't flip out that often.
Ryuk yes, i looove frieza's lines in tfs, not especially funny, but they were threatening and intelligent, I think he was fitting very well in the original dbz more than linda young, the english voice actor of frieza (just my opinion) bec he was sounding like a brute and i don;t really like his dub voice (thank the lord for chris) but atleast we have characters like cell, goku, 16, krillin, vegeta and nail :))
Mihai Mercenarul Chris is great, but actually I like LittleKuriboh as Freeza more than any original voice actor, he gave him a perfect voice, not too masculine and at the same time he doesn't sound like an old woman who has been chain smoking her entire life. He's one of TFS best casted voices, suites the character perfectly and he has an epic "British villain" accent :D
Ryuk yup, tfs is doing the voice soo much better than the original dub :D , frieza and cell voices are my favorite.
Ya know... If piccolo 16,17 and 18 had attacked cell they may have been able to win....
Piccolo would be too worn down from the fight with 17. Androids 17 and 18 couldn't fight Cell because if he caught them of guard for even a second, they would be absorbed.
And cell can regenerate if one his cells are alive
But there would be no ssj2 gohan
For those who may have missed it the reason the "Affirmative, I am ANDROID 16" is so cool is because 17 and 18 are Cyborgs, part machine, part human, whereas as 16 explains he is made of pure metal, thus making him the one true android in DBZA

Krillin's pretty strong tho. Send him back in time to the Saiyan saga and he probably could have put up a good fight vs Vegeta
The Rusty Omniblade he'd fuckin stomp Vegeta. Even late Namek Krillin would destroy Vegeta
Late Namek Krillin got his shit stomped in by Recoome so don't pretend like he was leagues beyond Earth Vegeta. The canon power level lists him at 13,000 which means Vegeta could have snapped his neck with a single blow if he really wanted to. His only chance would have been if Vegeta was stupid enough to let him use the Kienzan. I'm saying current Krillin MIGHT be able to go toe to toe with him.

The Rusty Omniblade after Guru power up he ended at like 21,000 by the time Frieza was beat. And seeing what 21,000 Vegeta did to 18,000 Gui...

I think the fact that the androids say "But its my choice." Is meaning that they don't follow anyone elses orders and that they themselves are making the choice basically human choice.
I love that bit when Android 18 had blushed whole saying "AWWW!" when Android 16 said "Yes, but i like you" to
what Android 17 had said,
THIS is where DBZ Abridged becomes truly incredible... And (arguably) better than the original.
Originally, the Androids didn't really have much to them.. They were simply there to act as placeholder villains before Cell arrives.
But Team Four Star gave the Androids something they never had before.
A Story.
The whole thing from before about their past? Their real names? (Lapis and Lazuli). That never existed in the original. They never had a real backstory. TFS completely changed that.
Shit, even in the original they really were just machines.. But Team Four Star rewrote that, and gave them more humanity.
Whenever someone says "That is a poor decision" and the androids respond with "Yes.. But it's mine to make" really says allot about who they are. So used to being machines purely for destructive purposes.. And now they're free. Free to make their own choices and create lives for themselves.
These characters NEVER had that in the original. Team Four Star made the androids (16, 17, and 18) genuinely good characters.
And that's why Team Four Star is goddamn genius... at this point, Dragon Ball Z Abridged is no longer just a parody.
In my eyes, it's a full retelling of the story. And TFS did a goddamn good job.
Just a clarification. All those elements like 17 and 18 being not full machines but cyborgs, their real names Lapis and Lazuli, etc... are from the original story. Toriyama kept them out of the picture though, so they were really subtle in the original show or even omitted, but they were revealed by Toriyama himself in the show or out of the show. TFS didn't create these elements but definitely it was a great decision to give them more weight and importance in DBZA, besides of make them clearer.
No, I watched DBZ and 17 and 18 were brother and sister that Gero modified into cyborgs (Cell's right about that term). I remember because when they asked 16 who he used to be, he told them he was constructed from scratch as a full android and 17 wondered why Gero was still kidnapping people for modifications if he could already do that.

I say "A" is best not even just because of the humor post season 1. But because post S1, frankly I say the voice acting is just overall better.
Most of the Japanese VAs sound like my Grandma, despite their characters basically being Achilles in various skin tones.
And the official English voices? Must I REALLY point out the literal millions individual people with critiques and complaints over the years? Certainly that's enough to at least admit they're not exactly setting the world ablaze with their raw talent.
I don't speak Japanese, and the official English actors sound like teenagers in a gmod machinema.
Both always sound too dramatic, like they were told they were starring in a soap opera.
The Abridged acting however doesn't feel so forced and, as you so lovingly said of myself, "overdramatic".
They speak and conduct themselves in a more "realistic" way, no matter how ridiculous the line actually is.
It's the DELIVERY, not the writing, is why I regard Abridged so highly.

The reason why you have a hard time predicting the story was that the orginal writer had not so much controll of his own story.
Android 20 and 19 where supposed to be the android version Trunks encountered in his timeline.
The editor hated there designs so android 17 and 18 where created to be the originals with android 16 added to the mix
the editor didn't think they where villain material so cell was created
And even cell wasn't to the editors liking (enough if i go furher i could spoil the story)
