@@Soldano999 yeah I know but people don't seem to realize it, i especially like their cabs when playing with my 7 string, those just have something around the 500-800hz range that I like.
What a nice plugin with such an unique voice. Market is so saturated of rectifiers, 5051s and JCM800 sims that I ended up hating them. This is a breeze of fresh air to my ears.
Same here. I think the Rockerverb has a unique and cool sound, but it's not something that I'd use often enough to justify buying the real thing. It's nice to be able to have plugins like this for those times you happen to want that sound you otherwise don't have.
That’s how’s I feel about most orange amps. They’re cool. But how I think they sound/others make them sound doesnt translate to me so this is a fun alternative. I dig the version in amphub.
We are spoiled to have an amp like this in our computers. I'm gonna grab this. Maybe a new vst will inspire me to record to make it worth it in my mind to spend money on it lol
@@ilayerez1 IK has a licensing deal with Orange (like they do with Mesa/Fender/Dr Z/Jet City, and used to have with Soldano). Most of the other amp sims that have something based on the Orange sound will only have one model, often based on the Rockerverb or a more classic model. Amplitube's got 8 different amp models, including the Tiny Terror, AD200 bass, OR50/120, and AD30c. I've got the "Max" set and the Tiny Terror is probably my most used sim, and it's pretty much sold me on getting the actual head (or maybe the Rocker 15, since it's got the "bedroom" switch to take it down to 1w/0.5w).
@@bubkusjones And with their new Tone X , I personally dont see a reason to buy a different amp sim ever again. with the ever growing uploaded user captured models of endless amps and pedals. I found a rockerverb model on there that is just wayyy too good
I like the no BS lets get to how this sounds in a mix right off the bat. Cheers fluff!
Mikko has officially became the King of Amp Emulation!
Amp sims just keep getting better... I haven't messed with any in Logic X since probably 2016... I need to get back into the hobby.
You don't need a DAW, just an audio interface, guitar, computer, and a good PA system and you're ready to rock the arenas!
Sounds great, although I wish it came with a fuzz pedal for the nastiest of doom tones.
I recommend to look into Mokafix, They have a fantastic range of fuzz pedal vsts. 👍
There’s an EHX Big Muff which is also a computer interface. That might be a good place to go?
@@lukehenderson436 It's called a Hardware Plugin, which HAS to have the actual hardware pedal in your chain to make the plugin work.
@@kiillabytez that’s correct.
Tried it today and it was way more versatile than I tought, could get even a good modern hi-gain tone with it.
Orange also does modern metal. Jim Root / Dark Terror

Good to hear you playing tunes like these again! I feel like it's been a while. Orange is awesome!

Definitely a killer Orange-style amp sim, sounds great
It’s good to hear some chonky riffs from the RD again!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
I've been noticing you're in a different space! Where is your awesome studio? Missing it :) Nevertheless, awesome video again! Cheers!
I think he got kicked out by his woman and she kept his gear...
A rockerverb is an amp I've always wanted to mess around with but never wanted to buy. This seems to be a good alternative.

Stl Amphub also does one really well!

Love your guitar!! Nice playing. 🔊
Can't we pretty much get the same result with an Orange crush amp? Has the 4x12 cab sim through the lineout too.
not a Orange fan but tried it as soon as I seen Mikko post it and to my surprise I dig it, quite a bit.
Amp sims are beyond me as far as technology goes, but it sounds great.
The RD stills sounds like your best 6 string. ‘77?
Damn, that sounds great

I love Orange. Gonna grab me an oracle with the ampknob from Bogren.
You sound exactly like Bert Kreischer and I can't get over it.
I really would like to see a better midi control for live use, like change presets....
AmpliTube 5 has several Orange options.
They do but could never get them to sound like the real thing. I think this is the closest I've come to my actual Rockerverb in sim form
@@hanstraplord1299 so this over Amplitube?
tone x orange based captures sound much better than amplitube 5 and its by the same company.
Dang!
Mikko freakin' does it again?!!

Can I use my 10dollar off coupon on this? Ty
Sounds killer
RD 😍I love this guitar 🤘😎
I guess Miko is getting another chunk of my next pay cheque
still waiting for a tuner on my vh4 :(
If i’m playing doom you know i’m rocking that all tube full stack ampeg v4 or the green matamp. Fuck that digital shit I want all them tubes.
🤣🤣🤣
Very nice doomy tones. Loving it.
I resist and resist , but my gear is becoming more and more pc based and digital. It’s sad and exciting all at the same time.
Man I hear you there! Totally!
Ik multimedia has kinda had the orange stuff cornered
What do you mean by "cornered" ?

Strange how these guitar amp promotions and reviews assume that all guitarists shred and play metal.
