Here’s the thing, let me explain how development works in the business world. You cannot continue your project unless it is funded. Considering this is a free-to-play game even outside of console and PC subscriptions, they need to recuperate the cost somewhere. Whether it be battle passes, skins, etc. respawn is a child company of EA they are not going to be covered in funding if they are not selling. So for the bugs that you are referring to they are most likely in backlog with high complexity. The devs may want to fix it but they cannot allocate time in their sprints to fix deprioritized bugs. When they are working on prod/new incoming tasks.
sadly there will always be enough ppl to buy everything they release even if its the most boring recolors of old skins.. I was hoping for a long time that ppl would boycott a battlepass forcing EA to sell the game to any other studio..

I've seen this option in Off the Grid where the subscription costs around 10 euros but no one wants me to buy a separate battle pass for it. 40 dolars per split is insane.

What could make this game go to the next level is giving us great rank rewards, not simple ones, make quads ranked along with regular ranked making quads permanent in a few other modes permanent, bring back and keep the stories of the outlanders going to peak fans interest, don’t take away, diving trails from ranked modes and lie to the community saying it takes up too much space when diving but then turn around and sell them with the prestige skins.
I will always be amazed at the lack of support EA gives to respawn. When Apex is (was?) Their biggest game in a LONG time. They're gonna have to learn the hard way that once you dont take care of your game enough, no amount of skins will bring players back.

I like your channel brother but I’m gonna be real on this one I’ve been telling people EA has been greedy for the past 2-3 years even got my account hacked by a guy residing in Pakistan and EA told me despite having my debit card attached (which EA removed) and all my personal information they would not forfeit my account back to me. People would technically have the option to purchase those subscriptions, and for me I usually spend about $10 a month around there for coins. If they offer a service where it excels even a little more than 1,000 coins and some other things included I don’t see that as absolutely horrid compared to the other things they’ve done. It could be alright it could be awful but I think people should wait to see what will go down if you don’t like it don’t buy it and play a game you enjoy.
Its funny how they can build a system that is financially beneficial to the company but are completely ignorant to the ongoing end user, they are marketing too, performance and content experience. Maybe i am alone on this , but I dont understand how there is so much negativity towards them implimenting ways to monitize their game, its still free to play and nobody has to buy those , those that do buy it will either have plenty of money to not care , or be people that are irresponsible with their money , f2p games make their money through the small % of people that spend a huge amount anyways.

I think apex would make more money if they made stuff cheaper because its more tempting to buy an actual microtransaction, for 3 or 5 quid on impulse and more people would probably buy it, than 10 or 20 bucks for just one skin in a game. If you sell 100 times a skin of 3 bucks it brings in more money than 10 times 20 bucks The same counts for the gambling events. I dont spend money if it can be an item i dont like. I used to get tempted to unlock an item but not anymore nowadays because im not a gambler. The split in battlepass made the second half of the battlepass of last season the only battlepass i didnt get since the beginning of the game and battlepasses. And i am in serious doubt of getting this seasons battlepass even though i have the coins for it on my apex account. Also the end of exclusivity isnt triggering me to get an item right now. It can come back later so why now. Instead of making stuff more accessible , they selling it in bundles thus making it more expensive and even less something to buy on impulse. It seems like EA is making really weird marketing choices.

I am not buying the latest battlepass since there is nothing good in it and 0 Revenant content. It's sad how clueless EA and Respawn are, even after having the lowest number of players so far. Subscriptions are the worst thing ever and will bury them for sure if they go down that route.

I like your channel brother but I’m gonna be real on this one I’ve been telling people EA has been greedy for the past 2-3 years even got my account hacked by a guy residing in Pakistan and EA told me despite having my debit card attached (which EA removed) and all my personal information they would not forfeit my account back to me.
People would technically have the option to purchase those subscriptions, and for me I usually spend about $10 a month around there for coins. If they offer a service where it excels even a little more than 1,000 coins and some other things included I don’t see that as absolutely horrid compared to the other things they’ve done.
It could be alright it could be awful but I think people should wait to see what will go down if you don’t like it don’t buy it and play a game you enjoy.
Its funny how they can build a system that is financially beneficial to the company but are completely ignorant to the ongoing end user, they are marketing too, performance and content experience. If they were more even, monetization to experience, it wouldnt be so bad, but the bad experience tips the scale.
They didn't make any money last quarter because fans are tired of telling EA what the problems with the game are and we have given up on them getting fixed. I still play the game(not much compared to how much i used to play) but im not spending any money. EA lied to the stockholders tho cuz they didnt earn less the last quarter because of the players, they earned less cuz they are killing the game. Fortnite wud never let their game get in the shape that apex is in and thats why that game makes more money
I hate to say this, but DAMN... Apex is doomed. And they don't even try to make us believe otherwise.
As a max lvl player who 80% plays only pathfinder and the game only letting u put on 8 skins in rotation at a time I buy the battlepass every season that’s it
yes EA. give us more ways to pay and not more ways to play
I have a theory they dont add cooper or blisk to the game because they don't want to associate them with this game when they're done with it
Only way I'd like this is if I got collection event items super cheap or come with it
If the game was almost perfect in every aspect (servers, bugs, sound, cheaters etc) then maybe but not like this

Not sure: I legit feel like triple take and havoc don't spawn (in OG royale at least) but maybe that's just me

Maybe i am alone on this , but I dont understand how there is so much negativity towards them implimenting ways to monitize their game, its still free to play and nobody has to buy those , those that do buy it will either have plenty of money to not care , or be people that are irresponsible with their money , f2p games make their money through the small % of people that spend a huge amount anyways.
Tbh no one really cares about monetization in the game just how they doing it rubs people the wrong way there's nothing in the game that warranted to pay subscription or buy BP each split if game had better engine and servers ect players would be happy to pay for subscriptions and BP
@siontimmy1 i am all for servers but as far as i know EA cant use other servers because they got themselves way back in a contract with the company they are getting those from and EA themselves cant do much about them, them splitting the BP isnt that bad either i think its an upgrade most of the things are nice to get and feel rewarding compared to the old ones where most of the stuff was fluff , not to mention that we get more of the good stuff in there too like crafting mats and apex coins , everything on top that they added to pay extra for isnt changing anything for those that are just playing it for fun they can only benefit , i feel like people are in shock realizing that companies need to make money somehow when the game is free
I think apex would make more money if they made stuff cheaper because its more tempting to buy an actual microtransaction, for 3 or 5 quid on impulse and more people would probably buy it, than 10 or 20 bucks for just one skin in a game. If you sell 100 times a skin of 3 bucks it brings in more money than 10 times 20 bucks The same counts for the gambling events. I dont spend money if it can be an item i dont like. I used to get tempted to unlock an item but not anymore nowadays because im not a gambler.
The split in battlepass made the second half of the battlepass of last season the only battlepass i didnt get since the beginning of the game and battlepasses. And i am in serious doubt of getting this seasons battlepass even though i have the coins for it on my apex account.
Also the end of exclusivity isnt triggering me to get an item right now. It can come back later so why now. Instead of making stuff more accessible , they selling it in bundles thus making it more expensive and even less something to buy on impulse.
It seems like EA is making really weird marketing choices.
