I was coming to the comments to say the same thing. The outro of this and intro into GOON squad feel like they were put that way on purpose and go together. Hearing Rosemary end without the intro to Goon sounds weird to me. KNY is their masterpiece. Straight up.
I love your honest opinions. Your channel is one of those ones where you can sit, sip something, relax, and watch. Everything you said, I agree with it. Just wanted to mention something. Deftones is a band that makes songs, which 99% of the time represent an emotion. I've been going through some tough times years ago, I would just put my headphones on, search for the perfect deftones song that matches my mood, and take a walk outside. I know lots of people who found escape from dark times through their music, which makes me consider this one of the best band in this genre. Keep it up✊️💪

Lyrics are about interstellar travel and teleportation/wormholes. Really awesome they can get the "in space" vibes going in the first half and I feel like the violent on/off outro is the rough unstable parts of travel and the fear it produces. My thoughts anyways. This album is fantastic and does arguably the best to show off their shoe shoegaze/experimental side.

There is a fan made video for this song that I'm assuming is from a video game or something that they just synched brilliantly. But I don't know, the Deftones are absolutely incredible and unique. They were not "Nu-Metal" they are their own energy entirely. Madonna actually personally signed them to her label Maverick, fun fact.

Very odd. I know your songs are on a list that's been compiled over years, but this song was just reviewed by another popular channel. Weird coincidence. This used to happen a lot, I'd notice the same song go across multiple channels in the same week. Back before copyright kinda killed reaction channels.
All the instruments are there to support and make the vocal as impactful as possible. They're just setting a stage and scene not there to shine at all.
I've disliked Deftones, but it was years ago, so I figured give them another try. I've changed my mind about bands before. Not this time, though. It's different than I remember, but it's just generic hard rock to me. Like a slow Soundgarden song, except stripped of any interest.
The ending was a transition into the next song Goon Squad. This is one of my favorite albums by them, besides White Pony.
