Hey nice vid, couple questions if you don't mind: 1. How did the controller actually feel in game? Specifically the sticks/aim? I didn't hear you talk about actual use much. 2. Why do you feel 1:1 input is so important for a controller when sticks are obviously FAR less precise than a mouse? To me, the community's overwhelming preference for dynamic response curve is evidence that a more linear or 1:1 response isn't actually desirable for controller (for the vast majority at least). Kinda seems like you're still holding on to an MnK mentality from the past in some ways, but then using dynamic anyway. I'd love to hear your actual thinking behind it. Cheers.
Great review as always. Looking forward to hopefully seeing the new Apex 4 pro with its 2000hz polling rate soon, hoping the latency is improved also 👍
You see the new Razer Wolverine v3 1000hz with Hall effect and extra buttons. Hoping for a review on it 🙌. Only thing keeping me is hoping for a ps5 style controller to come out with these same features
Just use gyro/motion sensor aim. It’s the better solution overall and you don’t need a fancy controller you just need a controller with a gyroscope (PS5 controller has it, PS4 controllers have it)
I’ve played the Vader 4 pro and the Beitong Zues 2. Really really wanted to switch to the Zeus 2 as its layout is amazing but I just cannot get used to the sticks, maybe this is why. Vader 4 is king due to the analog sticks IMO.
to be fair, it's got a benefit, it's harder to break and bend the plug when recessed like this. And it's not hard to look for slim connector cables that'll fit on Amazon or other stores, using a braided slim cable just fine with it
Hey, I was looking for a ds4 layout controller to play fps on pc, so I need it to be responsive and the sticks to not get drift. I play claw and the ds4 fits best for me, because it is not too big for my hands. Do you think this tarantula pro could be a good choice?
As far as all reviews I've seen, it's a great cost - quality option, but it seems that the app is definitely not polished with a lot of errors coming out of nowhere, and it also seems that the quality control of Gamesir is not the best, but once these problems are resolved it will be a very good option.
I use 3 extra buttons for Fortnite in builds, 1 in ZB, and Fortnite is a keybind hellhole. Some of my friends only use up to 2. How do y'all use 4 in CoD or Apex?
I came from the ps5 edge controller. Just recently tried the gamesir se and the elite 2. Didn’t like either. The gamesir se felt pretty good however the anologs felt terrible for precision aim in fps games. Almost as if the small adjustments don’t exist. Do you feel the tarantula has a better precision feel to it compared to the SE?
I just purchased a HE, and I'm returning it. I was using it for 2K, and it feels like one spring is softer on one side that I use the most, the side I flick the stick in that direction more often.
500Hz wired sounds like the 1.x firmware for the controller (similar to gamepadla tests on the FW version.) Connect app cannot update the controller from 1.x versions; you'll either need to update it through the Android app (firmware update not available on iOS app unless that's changed recently too) or through the firmware packages on Gamesir's parent website, thru their xiaoji support docs page for the Nine Tailed Fox controller
I can't even download the connect app. Every time I try I get the "We couldn't install this product. Wait a bit and try again error". This controller sucks without the app. Without the app, I can't even use it wirelessly and there's no vibration. If I connect via the receiver then the sticks don't work at all and my computer won't find it at all if I try to just use the Bluetooth option. Also I don't even think this thing should be advertised as working on android because the input delay is completely unplayable on android.
check for both controller firmware upgrade (android app or from Gamesir's xiaoji support pages for nine tailed fox controller) and dongle firmware upgrade. Usually the latest firmware updates for both will resolve stick issue. On Android you may also be able to pair in DS4 controller mode instead of the regular bluetooth mode, which may help with responsiveness
@@AlexEqualsAwesome93 two ways. 1. to connect from controller straight to a device as DS4, hold Home+east face button 2. to connect from controller to the dongle as DS4, first put it in receiver mode (home button + west face button.) It'll default to Xinput connection type; cycle through Switch and then DS4 connection to dongle by holding View + Menu for 2 seconds.
Need 4 button, 1000hz, trigger lock or click, would be nice to have one compatible with xbox too. Currently using Flydigi, scuff envison pro and xbox elite2
@@Soulfly-BR yup that’s why I only use it on xbox, when I play on PC I got the flydiji and the scuff envision pro Would be nice to have a good one for console
@@ianperesmusic "claw grip" usually means tightly curling your index finger in and down over the front ABXY buttons, which is kind of a misnomer here? Because for the Tarantula, you want your index stretched straight and across to the extra buttons at the top instead. "Tarantula grip" is more comfortable than "traditional claw grip"
I recently updated my PC and since then I've been having problems with the sound of the game, all the noise is 1000 times louder than before, am I the only one this is happening to and how? How can we fix it?

Are the lack of 4 back buttons a deal breaker for you?
Wait until y'all see what I'm cooking up... 😈
No just need one for sliding and jumping

I like the mush buttons tbh , can u do a comparison of flydigi and this
Great review as always. Looking forward to hopefully seeing the new Apex 4 pro with its 2000hz polling rate soon, hoping the latency is improved also 👍
I have been playing with it the last two days and I can tell you this I'm not returning it.
when u tested the raw mode did u find it also having smoothing? on the sticks
The 9 extra buttons do not work wireless with keyboard keys. They do work wired just not wireless.
did u find a fix for it

I think the Wolverine v3 pro is currently the best control, also wired half price that wireless option.

Dope review, Jesse! Vader 4 still smacking this tho!!! 😂🔥🔥🔥
hello, I would like to know if the usb cable that the store is advertising only for 3 controllers works on other controllers like the tarntula?
Any company that forces the use of a specific cable won't get money from me!
Why
to be fair, it's got a benefit, it's harder to break and bend the plug when recessed like this. And it's not hard to look for slim connector cables that'll fit on Amazon or other stores, using a braided slim cable just fine with it
@@change15893
Forces you to buy a new controller because they don't sell the cables separately.
Ok
lol relax it’s not that serious

There is a firmware update for the dongle to make it 1000hz it's been out for over a week

yo whats better the wave 3 or neo ?
Wave 3
I have the Wave 3 and it is simply outstanding
Vader 4 pro. , victrix pro o dual edge ??😊

Would be perfect if it had the DualSense format, the damn DS4 format hurts my hands.
sticking with the V4, it’s just too good! Dope review though,Jesse! It’s good to see some solid options out there! 🔥🔥🔥
My controller failed to load to the app. I’ve repaired several times
Damn you sony. I've wanted a gamesir controller for ps5 ever since I got my g8 galileo

The fact that its a symmetrical ps layout controller is already a w for me. Downside is it feels cheap to me and lack of 4 buttons.
