- We finally finished converting the 1968 Honda CL175 to fuel injection, now it is time to see if it was all worth it. Please check out my previous videos to see how we converted this over to EFI. Thanks for watching!

That smile on your face says it all , 😄, nice job !
😊 thank you
I spit iced coffee everywhere when it idled on it's own.
8:47. O yeah . Bike is humming!
Oh, man...!!! As much as I loved my Honda S65 (my first bike) and my truly unique and Greg-ized (diet-ized and otherwise enhanced)1980 CX500C, the biggest soft spot in my heart was my extreme overachieving 1968 CL175! That thing was so much faster than it had any right to be!!! Hung with the 650s and drag raced a Suzuki 250 Hustler bringing mine to 70mph, came to a full stop, and the Suzuki was still coming!
Sounds great. Be cautions with the rear sprocket mounts. My 68 CL175 snapped the sprocket off, and I believe Honda made an improvement because my 72 CL175, which I still have, never had the sprocket problem.
you are awesome, you remind me my friend from my childhood - same brain! he could simply design from nothing - piece of steel and wooden stick. Also did motorbikes. Love the way you explain things. I am engineer and I think you should teach engineering in the good college!
LETS GOOOOOO, pumped for you man!!
Hey brother, maby look into an oil cooler. All that extra compression gota makes a load of heat, plus oil cooler won't add too much weight in the grand scheme
Sounds incredible!
Very nice and good job!🎉
Feeling the love all the way here =)
Black and bare metal looks great
Can't beat that feeling when they fire up,,nice job
Your smile says it ALL!!!! Nice!!!
Made me smile too, sounds pretty happy at idle. There will be plenty who would be happy with that paint job. Great to see your systematic approach to progress. Gongratulations, really well done.
Thank you!
Good job bro!!! Your work is incredible, not only is it functional, you have also paid attention to the design language of the original machine.
The smile made at 9:22 is priceless, I genuinly know that feeling of happiness when all the hard work is finally paying off. Love the build !
One of the best feelings for sure
Awesome!
YES!! Sure hope you can make it to Arkansas.
Awesome job, can't wait for more
Thanks!
Watched every video!! Very happy for you! You’re paving the way for the future
Thanks for following along! I appreciate the support.
ngl your a legend
Thank you!
This is so awesome! Great build man!
Glad you like it!
Holy MOLY!!! It's here!!! It's finally here!!! Congratz man!!
Yes! Thank you!
Great improvement. Just neat to see the evolution of this build.
Thanks!
Great build well done
Thanks 👍
Keep up the good work man this build is awesome!
Thanks a ton!
this is exciting to watch. you should run it on the dyno so she's get a proper tune
Thanks for watching! Eventually we may put it on the Dyno
Amazing!
Thanks!
Nice work! I'm very curious about the next step to get the bike running properly. About the colour, there's only one colour on a old style race Honda and it's red with silver fairing (if you going to use one) and green yellow graphics 😉
Sounds awesome! I liked the original paint job those bikes had from the factory, so I'd probably do a modern paint scheme based off the original colors. I know it's not a street bike, but I'd love to see that Honda rolling down Main Street!
I like that idea 👍
The metallic blue from a cm200t would look awesome on that thing. Good work and congrats on getting it going, one of the best feelings after a ton of hard work/effort! Have me considering microsquirt for my next efi swap if I don't go fueltech lol.
Thank you! Go for it man, it's worth it! My bike already runs way better than it ever did when it was carbureted.
Use a spray clutch off an car starter weld an 3/8 or 1/2 drive on it and chuck it up in your drill when it starts it will slip safely
Good❣
Awesome Buddy! Does sound fantastic! I can only imagine the butterflies in your gut as that thing kicked over! In road racing no kick starters are allowed, but not sure about LSR. Could save some weight by removing it and all the stuff under the clutch cover. What will you be running for tires?
Congrats!!
When it fires up for the first time, its a very rewarding feeling.
It will give you the boost to go along..
I wonder whether you will spend more time: behind the screen on TH-cam or next to the bike.
Good luck!
Thanks!
congratulations on your project
Thank you!
@@vintageironmotorcycles Please
I know nothing about, but I'm fascinated with thus. I'd like to know or see a more detailed video, (even a drawing), on the routing of the supercharger. Particularly the inlet side.
It looks like you left the carburetor on? Or is that a throttle body?
What brand is the gauge cluster?
Try looking for a motorcycle flat track race bike remote starter. Probably cheaper too.
Nice work, man.
May i know which battery are you using?
Antigravity 4 cell lithium 👍
@@vintageironmotorcycles thank mate
couldnt you have inverted the blowers rotation and use more direct tubing? thx for answering.
No
thx @@vintageironmotorcycles
sorry but this is rly itchin my right wrist. ever considered a procharger (A-1) for more compactness? what made you go with the amr? thx again! @@vintageironmotorcycles
Am I wrong or is there no throttle body in this setup?
There is a throttle body
Thats sprag clutch
