Good choices! And these guys are incredible. One of the best in the world today. As a violin player I'd say they may be the most technically astounding quartet I've heard since the Guarneri. And their performances are exciting because they take risks, they do a lot spontaneously, and they are not afraid to occasionally show some rough edges. They are not trying to be perfect, they are trying to be compelling.
Holy crap! I hear Andrew Bird play the Ravel String Quartet using loops in his concerts. NOW I KNOW WHERE IT"S FROM AND WHY IT"S CALLED RAVEL!!!!! :D:D:D:D
Fantastic quartet. So passionate.. So crisp. So together. The BEST I have ever heard in 60 years of my life !!

Mozart, Ravel, Brahms, Bartok, Beethoven. Wonder what the JACK quartet's choices are? Or de Doelen Kwartet?
Good picks, but I'm a little disappointed by the lack of Shostakovich and Schoenberg.
