Interview with the Quatuor Ébène

I won't claim 'best', but they're my favourite quartet by a mile. I've never failed to be impressed by their recordings.

6:34 I wonder if the "2 editions" includes the Barenreiter... Barenreiter also has the Faure so it's a little weird to hear them talk about these pieces as if there's no urtext available, but then I guess this is basically a long ad for henle so it is what it is

They answer to the question: "What do you miss in the Henle catalogue." If they know the editions, wich are already published, they are perhaps not satisfied with them?
