      Second, can you do a video on how to create fight senes.

    I’m glad you did this video. Manga has become a bit like the Nashville country music scene, a slave to its own tropes. That is one of the reasons I like the 70s era, particularly Leiji Matsumoto

    I have ideas for manga , but would it be better to save them for the future and focus on learning how to draw
    OR
    Should I start drawing right now and let my artstlye evolve with my Manga overtime
    been visiting your channel a lot over the past few weeks and I love the content❤

    My manga is science fiction mix with slice of life and fantasy steampunk but its also not space them as it is more of a cultural theme. The story about young warriors following the tradition of going into another to embark on a new life and grow on their own.

    One concept in sci fi that interest me is real robot. It's about mechas as mass produced machines that people use in daily life and warfare and they're treated as just another machine that need some maintenance. Patlabor is the best example of this. Of course Gundam is considered to introduce it but in some series, the Gundams seems to veer off towards super robot as the story progress. This can be due to the advances in technology aka Clarke's 3rd Law. I'm no author but who knows, that I might cooking some ideas right now lol.

    • @MonitorComics
      @MonitorComics  ปีที่แล้ว

      I like real robot too! I think Gundam leans that way because they want the Gundams to be so "iconic." I like when the machines are incorporated into the worldbuilding!

    hey man, i am a fan of your videos. can i make a request? in your next video, can you somehow cover the topic if i can actually combine multiple manga series into one story with at least 75% of my originality please. (series like the big 3, black clover, mha, fairy tail and a few more if i want to). My dream has always been to make a combined manga series where people can finally have a common ground and there are no conflicts in the anime community. it would help me a lot if you could cover that topic. i would like to know now itself if it is possible or if i have at least even 5% of succeeding and if not, i can work on my second idea for my manga

    • @MonitorComics
      @MonitorComics  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you mean literally combine prexisting series the answer is no. Like you can't have Deku appear in your manga, that's copyright infringement.
      There is a "get around," parody IS legal. There's a manga series called Cheat Slayer which had characters inspired by Sword Art Online, Re:Zero, Overlord, etc. But they weren't EXACTLY them
      So in that case it would be fine. There's also something called Doujins (Doujins) which are fan manga, people make fan comics all of the time for series like DBZ, One Piece etc.
      The only problem with Doujins is you could never really make money or get them published, since you don't own the characters. Some Japanese mangaka sell doujins at Comicket for fun

    • @redkasai1196
      @redkasai1196 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MonitorComics I see, thank you for giving your time in answering my doubts. I just have one more thing to ask. If the story was almost totally original, would it still be kinda illegal? I mean, the characters are not mine, but the story, the theories and everything else will be mine, (forgot to mention, almost 90% of the characters will be my own) would i still not be able to publish the manga? If so, then i will start on my second idea for my manga which is basically my own story and my own characters. So sorry to bother you again

    • @MonitorComics
      @MonitorComics  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@redkasai1196 By law you cannot have a character like Goku in your story. That's copyright infringement. You CAN parody dbz and have your character dress up like Goku for comedic effect, that is legal
      Even though the story is original, it still would ender the doujin category since you don't own the characters so it's classified as a fan work
      The thing with working with publishers is they don't accept fanwork, you need to 100% own the IP
      hopefully that helps!

    I wish the volume was balanced, so I could understand what Ricardo is saying. I have to turn the volume way up to hear him, then way back down when Monitor speaks. I hate having to juggle the volume like this. Captions don't help either.

      @@nactrumofficial5450 My monitors don't have speakers and I just use headphones for everything, so I can't really test to see how it sounds out loud
      Next time I can try to double check the audio levels though to make sure they are more balanced!
      This is the first comment I have seen about the audio, so I assume using headphones is the only suggestion I can give!
