Forgiveness. That is what {El Perdon } means. It's about a woman who has been cheated, used, and abused by her lover (She will not forgive him..of course). She says "Let God give you...but, not me". Diana is a fabulous singer. She can hold a note like no one's business. My favorite song from her is "Sola".
she will not forgive of course... -- If so, bitterness and hatred will take one over. Secondly, one can`t leave to God what is one`s own task to do... No matter if one believes in God or not, it is God`s will and wisdom, that one should do its own part.

I can’t imagine anyone not being moved by this song ... even if the words are not understood. Her facial expressions, her voice, her tone, the raw emotion in her voice! You are so correct too - it was like a movie ... a very sad, deep, intense emotional one - and with the lyrics, what a story! The first time I heard it I was taken aback - by her long sustained notes of course - but also by the sound of the heartbeat monitor at the end ... and especially when it stops and you see the hard, set look on her face. Wow!
What a performance, a work of art, in all respects.

This song is about a woman in abusive romantical relationship. The man was verbally and physically abusive, unfaithful. He is on his death bed and pleading her for forgiveness, but she refuses to do so. So he dies without her "perdón" forgiveness.

This reminded me very much of a randim song Spotify had recommended for me, I think because I have a lot of Dimash and Diana A. Liked songs. But you can hear the absolute agony in her voice. The song is Жестокость by Помни Имя Свое. The band name translates to Remember My Name and the song is Cruelty, however you have to use the Russian letters to find it. Highly recommend it!

This is a very well done performance of Diana Navarro. The setting is in a hospital where there is a dying man taking his last breaths. He tells his wife to forgive him for his abuse and selfishness. He is helpless, and she is empowered. She tell him as he is hearing the last words of his wife. She is safe and inrage. She tells him that she has suffered a life of abuse and pain, and of his cheating and greed. She will not forgive him, but God will. In the end you hear the electrocardiograph beep, and she screen goes black, and husband is dead, and she is liberated from her tormentor.
