After watching the TV show NBC's "Community" I have this fantasy about going to college and writing TV shows that take place around college or there students with different genres of stories. Do you think there should be more TV shows that take place in grad school because there's some many teen shows? I have ideas for college shows. Comedies like "Victorious" or "Friends", action/fighting, mystery-drama, drama's like "the O.C". , suspense maybe like "Riverdale" or "Mr.Robot", sci-fi like "Roswell" or "Smallville" , and even rom-com stories
hi K! love your grad school content-that was originally how i found your channel, no one around me has ever geared up for grad school, so it helps me to get emotionally & organizationally prepared lol. you may have gotten rid of them already, but if you still had them, i’d love to see you go through one of your planners either of grad school or life in general, and discuss what habits you already have vs the tasks you plan time for 😁
That transition to the sponsor was awesome. You connected the sponsor to your audience- how to get benefit from Skillshare, according to their own need. Not like a random shoutout to features of Skillshare. Great job!!
Hi, I just subscribe to your channel. I as well just finished my masters in logistics supply change management from Embry Riddle. It’s been a month now and I am currently on the market looking for a job. But I do have a business which keep me sustaining until then. I’m not panicking just ready to get in my field, but I understand that this is common for graduates , thanks for sharing these great tips to help us through these times.
I am studying abroad now in my master programme for the first year and your title just hit me !!Hopefully I can do well following your suggestions. Btw, have you been recording your life during the master journey so that you can lookback through those memories haha
Hi, K! I’m new to your channel and I actually just applied to the University of Florida’s Master of Science in Management (MSM) program for Spring 2024! 🙈 I find out on September 15th if I got in so fingers crossed! I’m so excited for the opportunity especially because UF’s program is tailored for students who didn’t major in business as an undergrad, which I didn’t 😂 since you majored in management too, I’m gonna be binging your videos. If I hadn’t finished undergrad as fast as I did (2 years and 4 months), I probably would’ve changed my major to something business related, so I’m glad there is a program like this
Now I am preparing for my grads school and your video really inspire me! Now I am catching up again with some math and physics concept that I am not actively use 😍
This was another great videos. You are great and I wish I could have heard these tips when i was about to start my grad school. Hope your moving to NYC has gone smoothly and you are settling in well. Take care and keep safe
Soo helpful 🙏🏽 Following your channel for a bit and got inspired to get into consulting. Starting a Masters of Management degree tomorrow with the hopes of doing healthcare consulting with my nursing degree!
Loved the video like always 🥰 I am thinking about grad school too and even I am working full time currently, please share tips on how to manage one's finances during grad school, because courses like MIM are pretty intensive and working part time while studying doesn't seem like a feasible option to me.
I've finished my third year and the next year I said I wanted to stay on and do a Masters but I don't know if it'll be good for me or not, this year with everything being online and the thought I had to give it my all put alot of pressure on me during those exams and it felt almost traumatising looking back at it. But at the same time I'm told by my colleagues that doing a Masters degree is "the standard for an Electrical Engineering student" I initially thought I wanted to do my Masters degree, and I feel that I'm capable of it but I feel mentally destroyed by the end of undergrad that I feel scared that I'd freeze up during next years exam. I know this is off topic to what this video is about but does anyone have any advice for me? I'm 23 and I feel like I need to rush through this if I want to catch up with where I'm supposed to be
@@muneebabbas2424 You're not supposed to be anywhere so don't feel like you need to rush. As of 2020, 65% of Americans have no degree at all and live just fine. You're more than welcome to finish your BS and find a comfortable job and take as long as you please off the academics before returning for your MS. You won't be any worse for wear becoming an electrical engineer one or two years later than originally planned.
Thanks for the videos @kchoi. Could you please make a video on what are the pros and cons of pursuing an mba with already a masters degree +!work ex in hand. Does that make a difference in career or one need start from entry level roles??

Hi, I'm also going the business school route and am also looking for ways to improve my animation experience. If you are interested in collaborating, I do simple 2D work.
You don't need to have studied in the UK to do a UK postgrad programme. I am from the US and did my bachelor's/undergrad in the US, and then did my master's in the UK.

Same it’s been 2 for me and I felt discouraged by the time off!

Thank you for sharing, now I am thinking about how do I survive my master's course. lol
does it require to publish articles in journals in order to get graduated?
not that I know of! but maybe depends on the degree. but i don't think it would be a graduation requirement.
