I totally see where you're coming from. I learned to buy strap locks after playing my first basement show. I had a kid smack my bass right out of my hands, off of the strap, and split the neck. Luckily Fender warranties are pretty lenient (I now use strap locks). But I just hate seeing kids get hurt who just want to enjoy the show. To each their own I guess. Keep playing shows, kids need more music in their lives. Sorry for being a douche.
People will express themselves however they want at shows. This will never change and sometimes kids do get beat up at these shows, but to most, the black eyes and bloody noses are like badges. I'll still dive no matter how many times I break my shit.
and plus, nobody is ever out to hurt anybody. if you get hurt it's most likely by accident. unless you go see a serious hardcore band. then it's okay to die
I can't remember the last band I discovered that had SO MANY positive comments about them. You are right though. But sadly, the majority has shit taste so .....
lead singer has talent being in that small of a stage and still sing and know where the song is and make it sound that good
they changed so muuuuch but we're still here 10 years after
Now that's a crowd.
How many white dudes do you want? 'Yes'
Seeing these guys live in Philly on Tuesday with Gaslight Anthem. Beyond pumped for this.
I miss these days soooooo much
Gaslight and the mentzingers what a show
How was it? Sounds like a great time
Dude. Menzingers and Gaslight Anthem sounds dope.
Easily one of the best bands I've heard in the last 10 years
drummer is putting in work
There are few bands out there that convince me that rock is still alive. This is one of them.
Their drummer is fucking sick, I love this band
Love these guys
What a crowd! \m/
Exceptional video. 12 out of 10
This is fantastic!
I love this clip! So much I had to mp3 it to various listening devices.
Absolute quality!
True true true! And I would like to add: The Gaslight Anthem, Red City Radio and Dave Hause (Loved Ones)
Truly one of the only bands I can tie emotion too.
Wish I was there
Yeah, the Loved Ones are a band I like. "Pretty Good Year" sums up my 2012 so far.
This rules.
This looks a blast great to see Americas youth enjoying great music gone mad into these guys can't wait to see them 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Gd that's the place to be for me 💚
In that apology, you sir just broke every unwritten rule in the internet. :') You beautiful person
this video is awesome, thanks.
I almost went to this show but I didn't have a ride there...
This makes me sad that I missed them with The Holy Mess. Damn.
3:31
gonna honest here, i’m pretty fckin jealous of this crowd.
3:30 , 1234!
Must suck to be a fan who only got into them with their new shit and have never experienced a show like this.
"You cut my hair, you left red ink everywhere.
Do my hands tell a story? Is it boring?"
Anyone know what this lyric means?
Probably nothing all up but in parts cryptic?
And any Deaf Havana since after Meet Me Halfway, At Least. Like Boston Square
1:03 almost kicked in the face
Wow, no tattoos! They’re Hipsters!
