I love DreamMs the most I love how you don't even need to be part of a guild/family to go bossing, just announce it with smega and you'll get a party even cooler is that pretty much any class can boss, which can't be said for most old school private servers as mages are just money making/leech machines So yeah DreamMS hits the sweet spot of fun progression, between "grinding for 4 hours for 10% of exp" and "getting to level 150 in 2 days" and the hp increase with boss scrolls is perfect too Awesome server with awesome community, hope it continues to grow and prosper, and thank you for the awesome video my man!
Community is nice but the game is not nostalgic at all. The progression to level 100 took me 1-2 days only. It doesn't feel right. It was popular at first but half the playerbase dropped out pretty quickly. The staff members however are the best i've seen in private servers in a long time ( compared to crappy MapleRoyals and MapleLEgends lol ) .

Kimberly also scams about population, rwt etc. I have screenshots of MapleRoyals having over 20 players chilling in kerning city, henesys etc but i see in Legends maybe 1 or 2 players, the whole server feels dead while i see players in Royals literally everywhere, even in the middle of dungeon or omega sector. Legends real population lies within 300-500 players, they are high just because they have double votes ( remember what happened 6-12 months ago? They stopped double votes and suddenly they dropped to 4th-5th in gtop100 ). Both servers are crappy so don't play any of them. So is DreamMS.
Maplelegends is trying to get rid of the ho washing aspect. The problem is that people who have already done it are the most active and vocal and will lose their shit if its made easier when they already suffered. Its a very sweaty server late game. Staff is also extremely draconian and sometimes slow to respond to player issues that arent cheating related. The community is top tier with some great noob friendly guilds early on. The commands are less intuitive and arent explained at all. (Rolling for boss drops in pqs). The leech economy is insane and really only was slightly combated by unique boss drops known as pretigous coins. Which act as a meso alternative. They are also used to purchase white scrolls and chaos scrolls. All in all i ratevit 7.7/10 Nostalgia over end game

DreamMS for sure. MapleRoyals and Maplelegends you need leech mule, hp washing, buff mules and lot of effort to have fun on your favorite class.... until there you quit. DreamMS you can start the fun with no need for all that bullshit and enjoy the adventure.

Aran is my favorite class. Many says it wasn't very strong, but having self sustain, decent damage, and can face tank a lot of things, i rather them, than a simple warrior any day.
Aran was my fav class. I started playing in 2008 and stopped in 2011. I was ages 12-15 at that time period but got my aran to level 125 before big bang update which was very impressive at that time.
@@thegammalemon I feel like Aran compared to other classes being about combos and remembering said combos cause leads to hand pain real easy. It's gotten some buffs, but i can admit comparatively to other classes Aran is nowhere as flashy as say Dawn Warrior and Mihile
As someone who played every server you mentioned DreamMS Was pretty awesome it just got really stale and boring after you get everything. It's fun for 6 months or so then when you get all your items and complete everything the game very shallow and the dailys felt like a chore rather then a fun experience.
Been playing on Dream with my brother. This server is awesome, bonus exp for partying, lvling is pretty fast (but not to fast), the community is super friendly and try’s to help out, active party quest and ppl bossing all hours of the day. I will be playing here long term! Join us! Happy Mapleling
DreamMS is the best private server i’ve ever played so far, and its my favorite one. No HP wash. As classes u got cygnus, explorers and aran. For bosses Pink Bean, Magnus, Chaos Zk and Chaos horntail and all the rest. Fair prices for literally any gear/scrolls, and a good community. In my opinion its the closest to GMS/EMS in the good old days before Big Bang. Idk why u didnt mention MapleRoyals, cuz its way better than Legends, also MapleRoyals is the most popular and active MS private server atm (been like that for around 6 years), even tho they are basically the same trash, cuz u need to give up on ur life/work/family to be just DECENT/Average player in this server (ive played Royals for around 2 years) trust me. The only thing i miss bout it, is that i used to talk with pple in kerning till late at night while smoking. (Theres always pple in Kerning/henesys who do the same) Rest is just u spending ur time with leech and wash for a NL, making buff mules for bosses. And paying crazy amount of mesos/ws for trash/average gear. Choose ur fighter

Created a Cleric in MapleLegends and managed to reach Priest and around lvl 80 a couple years ago. Switched to play an Assassin but after realising I would need to leech for hours with INT gear I gave up on the class. Lastly tried out F/P Mage, but that class has like the worst lvl 30-50 in the game. I'll probably give DreamMS a try.
Try mapleroyal, there are daily hp quest that permanently add your hp. AP reset also can be bought with mesos, leading to vote abuse and Vote2win situation

I find in MapleRoyals players everywhere, even in kerning city there are 20-30 players chilling and having conversations etc. I see players in middle of omega sector too etc. The only problem is = leech and bad staff members. The forum members are ultimately most toxic i have ever seen, also the staff bans you just like that. Also Staff members are so corrupted they literally give you warnings and bans instead of banning old forum member guys who are " liked " there. They don't care about new players, they have their " golden players " who they worship and let them be rude towards you without giving them any warnings or bans. Such good potential but staff members and toxic forum members ruined the whole server. MapleLegends isn't any better, Kimberly claims there are no hackers or RWT but i have bought mesos in Legends ( there are many forums u can find RWT stuff ) and i have also tried hacks in Legends. No server is protected 100% from these. How can there be no RWT since you can basically just drop and trade your shit to other player's while they secrectly give you 20 bucks on paypal? I still vote for MapleRoyals, because the playerbase is so damn active you find player's literally everywhere popping, in Legends it's really dead. DreamMS is too fast progression, i leveled to 100 in 1-2 days only, it felt so easy. The skill changes are ugly too and doesn't feel nostalgic. The server is too easy + it's dead nowadays, it was only fun at the beginning. I don't play maple anymore, i'd suggest you drop those boring servers too. It's all about mesos and levels now, nobody cares about exploring the whole dungeon with you anymore and leveling up there with your buddies. It's not 2003-2008 anymore.
DreamMs is amazing. it's the same experience as playing the old EMS. not good as the Bms or old Global, but it's the " e x p e r i e n c e".. i have a Hero and i came back after 1 year to make a shadower.

Definitely confused about the gripes with MapleLegends. Playing for a while and its been fantastic with no issues. I think people are actively super competitive and blame the game due to that over competitive attitude. Its a game, learn to wnjoy it and stop trying to max level in 1 week. Its an rpg, not a race.
Your last video points out so many (mostly outdated) scathing issues with current Maple, but a lot of similar ones are just as pertinent in old-school servers. (P2W, HP washing, class imbalance, etc.) It is a little jarring that you're comfortable misrepresenting two wildly different experiences for the sake of nostalgia. Just as an example - you bash dailies/weeklies in current Maple, but you acknowledge that they help progression in old-school servers. You say new Maple's client is poor and inflexible, when old school servers add awful overlays and/or barely get resolution increases at the cost of an awkward UI. Bossing is a massive aspect of current Maple with more dynamic and modern bosses, and you highlight this in old-school servers but don't even acknowledge it in current. A lot of people will go into these old-school servers, be overwhelmed with how horrible the mechanics of old Maple were, try a few party quests and likely leave. I still strongly believe that old Maple was a glorified chatroom, but without the community the base game barely holds up, as seen with problems on MapleLegends. Even bandaid fixes like the likes of what DreamMS has compound into different issues - Gachapon dependency, overabundant HP, etc. It'd be cooler if you could give a more holistic approach to both new and old Maple experiences so people know what they're getting into with both the pros and cons of either game, this currently just come across as a nostalgia-imbued advertisement for private servers.
just go maplelegends for the true oldschool experience or dreams for a easier time with more content to do, as someone who already spent around 1 thousand of hours in royals, dream and legends i can easily say, is the only two servers who got any quality, mapleroyals is incredible bad
maple legends lacks a controlled economy. prices have inflated constantly unless new items or other mechanic changes decrease value. players with the highest amount of liquid mesos/pc hold the most buying/selling power and set market
remembering that time,circa 2007-2008 ish',had chance to operate one of the free server.....but for not long because some of operator got legal note from nexon to take down the server....
maple legends are the best server by far in my experience. Yea , the washing sucks but many classes washing is pretty chill as warriors, shado, pirates (or u dont even need it if u don want), and the mages are basicly mesos farmers, u can also boss with bishop tho. U have many options if u dont wanna be a hardcore attacker player. The community are very active and helpfull and the administration is very competent compared with other servers. Dream ms looks ok but its not the same category as legends or royals in my opnion. if u have the uptaded skills and the new classes available is not old school maple anymore. =Y
Legends is good, but the problem is that you are being lied by the Admin. Why? Because i have tested this numerous of times. The website shows the population okay? I went to and compared Royals population and Legends population from time to time. Sometimes Legends had 500 online, sometimes 1000, sometimes even more than MapleRoyals. Well the thing is.. i saw 0 players in main towns, sometimes i saw only 1 or 2 guys afking in kerning city that's all. FM was dead, i saw no players anywhere where i was grinding. It's funny because the population that the website showed had just the amount of players MapleRoyals had ( 1000+ players ). I visited the whole victoria island, orbis, ludibrium etc. The most players were mostly just super high levels or just people in ludibrium but it wasn't more than Royals anyways. It's a complete scam server, i have seen more players through the world with just 600-700 players online in MapleRoyals, but with 1000+ online in Legends i barely see anyone. It's funny because some years ago ( 3-5 years ago ) Legends was that private server that had 200-400 players usually online, and suddenly POOF they got 500-800 more players, just like that. It's not logical and makes no sense, Royals has had almost similar playerbase but it varies a lot. I can see why Kimberly the admin of Legends does this, she wants to create a false image to people that it's a very high populated server when in reality it's not. Me and my friend visited Legends and were like " fuck this " pretty quickly. At least Royals doesn't like about this.

Also, what i think u misunderstood and didnt know about it is that Legends allow multi client so the player count is actually boosted but not even close with what are u saying. My opnion is that royals will always be more populated since is more casual friendly. You cant compare a 3,5x with 1x, 2x server, we also still have the washing problems that.. yea, sucks. We will have a washing update very soon but anyway, i think u didnt give enough time to the server my friend.

In MapleLegends, the case is different, 50% of the playerbase is actually mules and you see less players and smegas + messengers in chat. I have tested this, both servers had 1000 players online, i visited Royals and i saw TONS of players around the world ( even omega sector imagine that ) but in Legends i saw maybe 1 guy in kerning city, not many players in FM, i barely found players actually. I talked to a twitch streamer last night who was playing maplelegends, also told me that the server has mostly buff mules. If you want ultimate nostalgia, yes go play MapleLegends, but MapleRoyals doesn't scam it's players on website when showing the actual state of population. Actually no, don't compare Legends to Royals. I have tested both servers since 2014-2015 and i can say Legends is fake. I have seen both servers having 1000 players online, while i found players in Royals literally everywhere, from kerning city to the random corners of Omega Sector, FM being filled with players, training maps, PQ's etc. I saw literally nobody in Legends, even with 1000 players online from time to time. FM was dead in Legends, maps were empty as fuck ( even Kimberly Admin made a post about making main towns more active, because they never are ). I found literally 0 people in main towns, but sometimes a few in kerning city, i found the most players afking in FM ( but not that much ) and ludibrium mostly, but nothing more than Royals. I see sometimes 20-30 guys in kerning city in Royals, FM being filled with players in many channels, i see people in ludi, henesys, orbis, el nath etc. The difference is really huge, even though sometimes Royals has less players than Legends according to website. So yeah i call Legends a big scam. Also you can't compare mules in Royals to Legends, because Legends is known for being a MuleStory, because the exp rates are way lower than Royals, and you can teleport to FM with 1 button in Legends to get buffs fast, it's a known fact Legends focuses on getting buffs all the time, while Royals you see sometimes a mule or 2 at end game bosses.. but you don't really meet buff mules at all in Royals not the first 140-155 levels anyways. I have done bosses in Royals where everyone is welcome really, from paladins to bishops who play actively. You don't carry buff mules in MapleRoyals, because there is no FM teleport function to get buffed fast just like in Legends. Also i have played Legends with my buddies. We got ourselves to level 40 something until we quit and finally said " fuck this shit ". We never met anyone to play with, the most players we found was daily Ludi PQ but it can also be empty a lot. Also it makes no sense.. i played Legends and Royals first time in 2014 iirc and Legends always had 200-350 players online, how is Legends suddenly doing more than Royals in an instant flash? Legends popularity raised just like that. Legends feels like it's still at 300-350 players just like 3-5 years ago. Go on, go to Legends and see how empty it is, ask anyone in reddit ( there are numerous posts where people say Legends is a bit empty ) so 1000+ players at times is a mega scam. I saw more players in Royals with 500-600 players online compared to Legends with 900-1000 players online. I also talked to a twitch guy from Legends who also said the same thing that people are mostly in FM and all the towns are dead, but the fact is, the whole server feels like an empty basket with a few apples in it. Also leeching is a thing in Legends too. And don't talk about that royals has a bad economy, you do realize you can get mesos very easily there? You can get 30m+ just from daily voting, you can grind mobs and get items dropped fast too. So yeah getting expensive items is nothing different than Legends, it's just different numbers and rates in it. You still get scrolls and equipments from mobs very easily here, where you can scroll them or resell to people / npc. DreamMS sucks anyways, it's not even nostalgic at all. The skills are different and new, max lvl 250, progression is too fast ( i lvled to 100 in less than 2 days by solo grinding and questing ). It got boring pretty fast. There are also posts where Kimberly ( admin of Legends ) states that towns are dead + many other forum members. There are also reddit posts from 2-3 years back where people say that the server is literally dead.

I played royals heavy a few years ago. The owner is a clown and damn near killed his own server when implementing the new source, against the advice of his team. I could go on and on about how trash royals became. I hit 200 and dipped out. I will say I met some great people playing there. Royals as far as I'm aware is still the most popular but it's not worth playing. Would not recommend to anybody.

I played DreamMs a year + agao and loved it so much, i recommend that server!

Maple legends has addressed the hp washing system, currently in beta allows you to increase your max HP with custom challenged. Pretty awesome!

The server is too easy + it's dead nowadays, it was only fun at the beginning. I don't play maple anymore, i'd suggest you drop those boring servers too. It's all about mesos and levels now, nobody cares about exploring the whole dungeon with you anymore and leveling up there with your buddies. It's not 2003-2008 anymore.

DreamMs is amazing. it's the same experience as playing the old EMS. not good as the Bms or old Global, but it's the " e x p e r i e n c e".. i have a Hero and i came back after 1 year to make a shadower.

Of course you didn't mention MapleRoyals which is actually the most populated server. I played Shadower and never felt HP washing is a must.
Definitely confused about the gripes with MapleLegends. Playing for a while and its been fantastic with no issues. I think people are actively super competitive and blame the game due to that over competitive attitude. Its a game, learn to wnjoy it and stop trying to max level in 1 week. Its an rpg, not a race.

Your last video points out so many (mostly outdated) scathing issues with current Maple, but a lot of similar ones are just as pertinent in old-school servers. (P2W, HP washing, class imbalance, etc.) It is a little jarring that you're comfortable misrepresenting two wildly different experiences for the sake of nostalgia.
Just as an example - you bash dailies/weeklies in current Maple, but you acknowledge that they help progression in old-school servers.
You say new Maple's client is poor and inflexible, when old school servers add awful overlays and/or barely get resolution increases at the cost of an awkward UI.
Bossing is a massive aspect of current Maple with more dynamic and modern bosses, and you highlight this in old-school servers but don't even acknowledge it in current.
A lot of people will go into these old-school servers, be overwhelmed with how horrible the mechanics of old Maple were, try a few party quests and likely leave. I still strongly believe that old Maple was a glorified chatroom, but without the community the base game barely holds up, as seen with problems on MapleLegends. Even bandaid fixes like the likes of what DreamMS has compound into different issues - Gachapon dependency, overabundant HP, etc.
It'd be cooler if you could give a more holistic approach to both new and old Maple experiences so people know what they're getting into with both the pros and cons of either game, this currently just come across as a nostalgia-imbued advertisement for private servers.

maple legends lacks a controlled economy. prices have inflated constantly unless new items or other mechanic changes decrease value. players with the highest amount of liquid mesos/pc hold the most buying/selling power and set market

maple legends are the best server by far in my experience. Yea , the washing sucks but many classes washing is pretty chill as warriors, shado, pirates (or u dont even need it if u don want), and the mages are basicly mesos farmers, u can also boss with bishop tho. U have many options if u dont wanna be a hardcore attacker player. The community are very active and helpfull and the administration is very competent compared with other servers. Dream ms looks ok but its not the same category as legends or royals in my opnion. if u have the uptaded skills and the new classes available is not old school maple anymore. =Y

Legends is good, but the problem is that you are being lied by the Admin. Why? Because i have tested this numerous of times. The website shows the population okay? I went to and compared Royals population and Legends population from time to time. Sometimes Legends had 500 online, sometimes 1000, sometimes even more than MapleRoyals. Well the thing is.. i saw 0 players in main towns, sometimes i saw only 1 or 2 guys afking in kerning city that's all. FM was dead, i saw no players anywhere where i was grinding. It's funny because the population that the website showed had just the amount of players MapleRoyals had ( 1000+ players ). I visited the whole victoria island, orbis, ludibrium etc. The most players were mostly just super high levels or just people in ludibrium but it wasn't more than Royals anyways. It's a complete scam server, i have seen more players through the world with just 600-700 players online in MapleRoyals, but with 1000+ online in Legends i barely see anyone. It's funny because some years ago ( 3-5 years ago ) Legends was that private server that had 200-400 players usually online, and suddenly POOF they got 500-800 more players, just like that. It's not logical and makes no sense, Royals has had almost similar playerbase but it varies a lot. I can see why Kimberly the admin of Legends does this, she wants to create a false image to people that it's a very high populated server when in reality it's not. Me and my friend visited Legends and were like " fuck this " pretty quickly. At least Royals doesn't like about this.
@@DirtyFan2 humm i dont agree. depending on the time you entered this could be a problem i guess, but i never saw the fm dead, and i play since 2015 when max players was around 200 at his peak in event seasons. Also, what i think u misunderstood and didnt know about it is that Legends allow multi client so the player count is actually boosted but not even close with what are u saying. My opnion is that royals will always be more populated since is more casual friendly. You cant compare a 3,5x with 1x, 2x server, we also still have the washing problems that.. yea, sucks. We will have a washing update very soon but anyway, i think u didnt give enough time to the server my friend.
@@Bruno41722 Royals is usually filled with tons of players ( even kerning city has usually 10-30 players ), tons of smegas and messengers flowing into the chat, you actually see players in random maps. In MapleLegends, the case is different, 50% of the playerbase is actually mules and you see less players and smegas + messengers in chat. I have tested this, both servers had 1000 players online, i visited Royals and i saw TONS of players around the world ( even omega sector imagine that ) but in Legends i saw maybe 1 guy in kerning city, not many players in FM, i barely found players actually. I talked to a twitch streamer last night who was playing maplelegends, also told me that the server has mostly buff mules. If you want ultimate nostalgia, yes go play MapleLegends, but MapleRoyals doesn't scam it's players on website when showing the actual state of population.
Actually no, don't compare Legends to Royals. I have tested both servers since 2014-2015 and i can say Legends is fake. I have seen both servers having 1000 players online, while i found players in Royals literally everywhere, from kerning city to the random corners of Omega Sector, FM being filled with players, training maps, PQ's etc. I saw literally nobody in Legends, even with 1000 players online from time to time. FM was dead in Legends, maps were empty as fuck ( even Kimberly Admin made a post about making main towns more active, because they never are ). I found literally 0 people in main towns, but sometimes a few in kerning city, i found the most players afking in FM ( but not that much ) and ludibrium mostly, but nothing more than Royals. I see sometimes 20-30 guys in kerning city in Royals, FM being filled with players in many channels, i see people in ludi, henesys, orbis, el nath etc. The difference is really huge, even though sometimes Royals has less players than Legends according to website. So yeah i call Legends a big scam. Also you can't compare mules in Royals to Legends, because Legends is known for being a MuleStory, because the exp rates are way lower than Royals, and you can teleport to FM with 1 button in Legends to get buffs fast, it's a known fact Legends focuses on getting buffs all the time, while Royals you see sometimes a mule or 2 at end game bosses.. but you don't really meet buff mules at all in Royals not the first 140-155 levels anyways. I have done bosses in Royals where everyone is welcome really, from paladins to bishops who play actively. You don't carry buff mules in MapleRoyals, because there is no FM teleport function to get buffed fast just like in Legends. Also i have played Legends with my buddies. We got ourselves to level 40 something until we quit and finally said " fuck this shit ". We never met anyone to play with, the most players we found was daily Ludi PQ but it can also be empty a lot. Also it makes no sense.. i played Legends and Royals first time in 2014 iirc and Legends always had 200-350 players online, how is Legends suddenly doing more than Royals in an instant flash? Legends popularity raised just like that. Legends feels like it's still at 300-350 players just like 3-5 years ago. Go on, go to Legends and see how empty it is, ask anyone in reddit ( there are numerous posts where people say Legends is a bit empty ) so 1000+ players at times is a mega scam. I saw more players in Royals with 500-600 players online compared to Legends with 900-1000 players online. I also talked to a twitch guy from Legends who also said the same thing that people are mostly in FM and all the towns are dead, but the fact is, the whole server feels like an empty basket with a few apples in it.
Also leeching is a thing in Legends too. And don't talk about that royals has a bad economy, you do realize you can get mesos very easily there? You can get 30m+ just from daily voting, you can grind mobs and get items dropped fast too. So yeah getting expensive items is nothing different than Legends, it's just different numbers and rates in it. You still get scrolls and equipments from mobs very easily here, where you can scroll them or resell to people / npc. DreamMS sucks anyways, it's not even nostalgic at all. The skills are different and new, max lvl 250, progression is too fast ( i lvled to 100 in less than 2 days by solo grinding and questing ). It got boring pretty fast.
There are also posts where Kimberly ( admin of Legends ) states that towns are dead + many other forum members. There are also reddit posts from 2-3 years back where people say that the server is literally dead.

Also Legends is the only server that has 2x vote events so OFTEN no wonder it’s #2 in gtop100. When dreamMS came around, Legends dropped to 4th, and DreamMS had only 700-800 players for a few months only at the beginning lol

I played royals heavy a few years ago. The owner is a clown and damn near killed his own server when implementing the new source, against the advice of his team. I could go on and on about how trash royals became. I hit 200 and dipped out. I will say I met some great people playing there. Royals as far as I'm aware is still the most popular but it's not worth playing. Would not recommend to anybody.
