Beautiful work! I'm 6'5" and was excited to see you make the longer bed integrate into the Suburban specs! (I've lived for months at a time in a modified Dodge Caravan).
I have a 1993 Suburban that I go on long trips car-camping with my dog in. We did 6 months in the PNW in 2020. Was the greatest way to social distance ever! This is an amazing build. I just have a "no build" build. How does this owner charge his stuff? I too have a Jackery 1000 and have an Alpicool electric cooler. I use two Jackery 100w solar panels, and only use 8 volt to charge it while travelling. I have a big hard top carrier also, so it was awesome to see how the max fan was installed. I have barn doors instead of a lifting gate. I thought about installing a max fan in the driver's side back window. I love that I got to see a max fan installed, and working in conjunction with a carrier! There is so much to love about this video and build. Thanks for sharing! You make me feel brave to try some new ideas!
What incredibly-innovative men! I'm currently in a "no-build" Mercedes ML350, saving up for a Sprinter van + van build, but wow: you have me rethinking... Awesome work!
that's a great, well planned build, simple and practical. i would have have keep the second row of seats and just put a top open fridge in the center console area, of it was captain seats put in between there. I think people should also think about adding those airplane style tables behind the front seats. looks like you could sleep 3 people there, if needed. is there any solar? or is just the jackery / car charger?
Great job. I have a 2008 Yukon (reg. size) and think we need more custom and after market parts for the 2007-2014's. Question. Did you do anything to the side air bags such as remove them? If not, if there was an impact, I guess there is not a concern at that point for the air bags and side cubbies?
This really nice. I just bought a red 2007 LS like this one that has 2nd and 3rd row bench seats and was wondering if they can be replaced with captain seats using the same floor mounts? Your build gives me a few ideas to build a mini ham radio station in the back area plus room for other hobbies.
I'm not sure if they cab be replaced with captain seats using the same bolts. The seats probably have different mounting areas. You could always weld up a mount that fits both the truck and the seat.
Wow! Amazing build! Craftsmanship looks very good too! Lots of genius ideas in there for me to steal sorry I mean borrow 😂 (I’m building out my crappy old 1993 Suburban for overlanding) Great job, thanks for posting the video.
I would convert part of the side-cubbies to hanging space and add a lift-up shelf next to the fridge 4 the collapsible washbasin or a funnel 4 those times I want to 🍳 cook or wash up inside. Great that you included that collapsible camping toilet 🚻...essential 4 me.
There's no wiring in that area. You can remove the headliner very easily and see what up there. Its just clips holding it on. All the suburban's we've done have had nothing in the way.
Is it possible to make it where you can sit up straight in the bed and not have to scrunch over. For example, could you get a roof rack and everything you put under the bed move it to the top roof rack so the bed can be lower where you can set up inside of it. And also does that would take up headspace to thank you I’m interested in something like that if possibly you could help me in the future.
Im a radiological worker and travel alot, Im always renting and its kind of stressing trying to find a room, so I would like to know how much a set up like that runs for.
I want to have this done for my 2019 Chevy Suburban, with the third seat so my young son can have his seat. How much would this cost? What's the process?
Now thats a professional build , i watch overlands built by others and the finish isnt even close to yours and all the thinking that went in to your build is awesome, love the kitchen and the slide couch , just awesome 👍👍
Thanks for your inquiry! We have actually had a few builds come from all across the States. Shoot us a message through our contact page on our website and we can talk about what you’ve got in mind!
Thanks for the comment. Feel free to reach out to us through our website so we can talk about exactly what you're looking for. www.everventurecustom.com/
This is awesome your work is flawless 😊,would love for you guys to do my build, was thinking van but liking the truck better. Perfect bed/couch area could you possibly put a sit down shower 🚿 in 🤔🌻
We would love to do a build for you. I'm not sure a shower will fit in the suburban. Its pretty limited space in there. Check out our website EverVentureCustom.com and send us an email in the comment section.
This is what i wanted to see unfortunately I got 07 Tahoe but gives me ideas I've already camped out of it numerous times not I'm thinking about setting up to be a camping rig
We are located in Evergreen Colorado. All of our builds are custom built and custom priced. If you go to our website EverVentureCustom.com you can send us an email in the contact page and tell us a little bit about what your vehicle is and what your looking for. From there we can get you a quote that works for you.
Storage under bed cud be only 4".. and that couch moore vertical.. Now u just sitting too horisontal and still your head is near the ceiling. That cud be my camper..💪👍
We have an 02 2500 suboverland, and I really like portions of your build. If I have some questions, is there a separate email address, or do I ask here.
Two problems. With that Bed design, your stuck in the rain cooking. And no way to access the bathroom in the night or in the rain. I don't understand why you guys always make the bed take up so much room. You should fix it to one side and have it slide out when in bed mode like in vans. And fix the other side storage and an are big enough to prepare and cook on. And have a bathroom accessable all the time, especially at night and when raining out. And yes it can be done. If it can be done in a minivan, it most definitely can be done in a suburban. It has more room.
Thanks for the feedback. Yes there are definitely some other design options out there for sure. In this case the customer wanted to be able to cook and use the bathroom without going outside. In case she was in a parking lot. She has a one burner stove that she can place on the countertop and cook with plus the toilet can be placed on the floor right between the storage area and the seat. When she doesn't need to be so incognito she can use the pullout stove in the back and set up the toilet outside.
The craftsmanship on this is stunning. Nicely done!
I love to see this kind of quality built into an everyday vehicle. So sick!
This is the best Subie conversion I've seen. THE BEST!
This is the best SUV build I’ve seen yet
Beautiful work! I'm 6'5" and was excited to see you make the longer bed integrate into the Suburban specs! (I've lived for months at a time in a modified Dodge Caravan).
Had a 2022 suburban premier for about a month and that thing was a beast! This opens up a whole new option now! Very innovative build!
Absolutely Brilliant! Quality craftsmanship! I should have kept my 2003 Suburban.
It has all it takes and a good size bed. Lovely.
Well thought out.
This is the nicest Chevrolet suburbans have ever looked...2013 burgundy on tan is perfect
Excellent work, great idea for making a modern Suburban a camper.
NAILED IT!
Wow great built. Love the secret potty and the double sofa component. But that kitchen sliding shelf with that light bar amazing.

Awesome work!
Fabulous build. Mine is a simple no build build. But im thinking of doing something permanent since I have two of them now.
This is incredible! Great design and beautiful work. I have an 07 Suburban. I would love to have this exact set up.
Awesome build !!
Awesome video and craftsmanship, thank you !!!
Thank you too!
Awesome set up. I love it.

Thanks for the input! To answer your question, we do put solar on the roof of most all our builds. Whatever the customer wants they get!
Amazing work, and craftsmanship. One downside is the rear compartments which are only accessible from the outside
Great job. I have a 2008 Yukon (reg. size) and think we need more custom and after market parts for the 2007-2014's. Question. Did you do anything to the side air bags such as remove them? I was going to ask the same question. What I have found so far is 07-10 side curtain air bags was an option & 11-14 standard (not sure about 2015+)
Good question. We leave all safety functions of the vehicle intake with all our builds!
This really nice. I just bought a red 2007 LS like this one that has 2nd and 3rd row bench seats and was wondering if they can be replaced with captain seats using the same floor mounts? Your build gives me a few ideas to build a mini ham radio station in the back area plus room for other hobbies.
If they don't have the mounts, I bet you could take them from another suburban and put them in yours.
I'm not sure if they cab be replaced with captain seats using the same bolts. The seats probably have different mounting areas. You could always weld up a mount that fits both the truck and the seat.
I removed the 3rd row seat and installed leftover bamboo flooring in the rear during the holidays. Makes a bid difference. One step at a time.
Wow! Amazing build! Craftsmanship looks very good too! Lots of genius ideas in there for me to steal sorry I mean borrow 😂 (I’m building out my crappy old 1993 Suburban for overlanding)
Great job, thanks for posting the video.
I've got a 98, if you do the vent, make a video. Love to see how you do it

We’ll keep that in mind. Thanks for the comment, glad you liked the build.
This really neat!
Very inspired! Thank you!
When you added the rooftop vent, were there any items in that area of the ceiling that you had to move or take out like wiring, etc?
There's no wiring in that area. You can remove the headliner very easily and see what up there. Its just clips holding it on. All the suburban's we've done have had nothing in the way.
No there was nothing in that area to move or re-locate. You can remove the headliner pretty easily and take a look. Its just clipped in.
Really nice quality build!
The best I’ve seen so far!! Crazy beautyfull
Awesome
With a set up exactly like this, cold a person that's 6'3 lay down in there comfortably or would that 3 seat have to come out?
you guys do great work!
Thank you!
Sick rig! How do you build and mount those storage cabinets on the side though? They look so sweet!
Very nice! I love all the cubbies.
Great job!
Looks cozy 😮
This is awesome!👍 Keep doing great things.
How do you get in and out when bed is out?
Cool design!
Can you do this on a tahoe 2004 ?

You can email us directly through our website EverVentureCustom.com
Cost of the build?
What kind of wood did you use on this build?
Oh that's so nice! Do you do builds with two back seats? Got two kids so I would need that
Yeah we can do one with the back seats. Here’s a link to the last one we did. th-cam.com/video/HFIqUsrLB9w/w-d-xo.html
I want to have this done for my 2019 Chevy Suburban, with the third seat so my young son can have his seat. How much would this cost? What's the process?
This is amazing 🤩
How did you take the 2nd seat out???
You have to lay on your back and start kicking them
Now thats a professional build , i watch overlands built by others and the finish isnt even close to yours and all the thinking that went in to your build is awesome, love the kitchen and the slide couch , just awesome 👍👍
Thanks for the feed back I really appreciate it.
Thats frikin awesome🔥🔥
Add a Roadshower on the roof, and a dirtbike on a hitch rack, and you’d have everything you need.
I love the window cubbies! Stealing that idea for my SUV build 👌🏻
No stealing 🤭
Can I pay you guys to do my suv the same way I’m in Tennessee
Thanks for your inquiry! We have actually had a few builds come from all across the States. Shoot us a message through our contact page on our website and we can talk about what you’ve got in mind!

Yeah we did a 1999 which is the same body. that build was very similar to the one in this video. The video of the 1999 is on this channel.

God, I wish I could afford this.
Solar solar solar. Put 400 watts on the roof. Edit: if you need more watts you need to get bigger panels.
Nice work gentlemen... but man, you really need to do something about your sound levels...
Thanks we’ll keep that in mind for future videos.
Where are you guys located
Evergreen Colorado
Evergreen Colorado, About 30 minutes from Denver

love the quality of the work and attention to detail... but that music is awful

Turn the gay music off
ditch the sucky music
As long as the volume doesn’t drown out the guys voice, it’s fine
One beautiful build. Do you find and buy the rigs as well?
The vehicles are owned by the customers. We just build out what they currently own. We will start buying our own rigs soon though.
Awesome build!!
