Good setup video. Another thing that can help is decreasing the wheelbase of the BR. Just shorten the chain as short as possible (limited by rear drop out or chain tensioner). This free mod will make initial pull up that much easier.

You can also just drop down 2 teeth on the sprocket which gives just about the same effect..... But if you want to go the freewheel route, the stock freewheel is generic to begin with so no need to spend $50-60 - you can go with a $20 ACS or Shimano freewheel and it is still an upgrade from the generic stock one.
personally, everytime i get a new bike i always switch my handlebars/ twist them up to about 80-90 degrees. it is so so so much easier to pop it up

my bike was 9 by 13 gears and then i made it singlespeed with 30 tooth chainring and sixteen tooth cog it was pretty slow but good for going 15 mph wheelies

Also a smaller sprocket and stock wheel in front and hook worm in the back home t helps grip the flor when wheeling and keeps u light in the front and the dproKcte makes it easier to peddle like the freewheel but bigger

Stock freewheel is actually 16t on flyers and rippers
depends on how old, my 2018 city grounds came with 15t on the rear and 33t in the front, i went with ROS 16t on the rear and me personally dont like how light the gearing feels, i just purchased a 36t sprocket from ROS to see if it can cancel out the 1 tooth added from the stock 15t.

A 33 tooth sprocket with a 20 tooth freewheel is the same as a 25 tooth sprocket with a 12 tooth freewheel.
just got a big ripper and this thing is so hard to pull up. pulled it up and held it for a lil but i feel like the sprocket is too small. it’s a 36T and i’m thinking about getting a 39T from rideout supply. Do you think i should get one?

Noooo lol a bigger sprocket makes it harder I understand it can be confusing,the sprocket which is the gear connected to the pedal the more teeth it has the harder it will be to pedal/wheelie ,but in the rear it’s called a freewheel, more teeth on freewheel makes it easier to pedal

Better double check the stock freewheel before ordering. I just picked up the same bike and mine is stock 16t freewheel and a 36t sprocket. I'm ordering the 17t ROS freewheel
