Man some people don’t have the “ TH-cam “ thing down. But you sir need to keep making videos. Excellent content! I am new to the industry so this is all gold for me. Your videos are great. You present yourself like a TH-cam pro and deliver the information in a way that us new guys can understand. Keep up the great work!

For those watching this take note that a lot of smart thermostats, especially Nests, will do this without a blown fuse and might even report, "there's a problem with the Y wire" or something like that.
enjoy your videos man, hope you are well

I've seen the T6's do that a lot when the drain line is clogged and the float switch is killing the power and then it will send the thermostat into a 5-minute delay. Some of the water manages to trickle out but when the unit comes back on and fills the trap and trips the switch again the thermostat goes into another 5 minute delay.

If it's not blowing the Fues then I would think it's a voltage problem that's causing the thermostat to reset. The Fues is in the hot side of the transformer as you know so with out blowing the Fues I would check the voltage. Good video

It will blink cool on if you lower to soon after it shuts off on its own. Usually around 5 minutes. You can turn off the cool switch off and on if you don't want to wait. But the delay has a purpose. Maybe pressure is to high in the compresure

What if you’re getting a very long, near hour, delay on both cool and heat?

Had that happen on another Honeywell tstat . After replacing fried transformer, , got a call for cool and voltage dropped to 13v . Removed call and had 24v. Sure enough contactor was shorting out . I’ve replaced some shorted contactors blowing out fuses .weird sometimes . But been changing a lot lately. Homer brand

I have a situation where I have 3 zones/thermostats. Only when the bedroom thermostat is set to cool rabdomnly it calls for AC but the fan doesn’t come on and unless I catch it eventually will frost the unit. If I do not use the bedroom or if I turn it on only when I can confirm the fan comes on it works 100%. Any ideas?

My heat wont work. My thermostat is scrolling the set temp. The set temp numbers are going a million miles an hour. It only can be fixed if I set it to cool then back to heat. Then the heat comes back on ..itll do it every few days

Could really use some help. Have this Honeywell thermostat and I did have a broken wire out at the outdoor unit. Replaced signal wire the the contactor replaced contactor. Now it only will run the outdoor unit if the thermostat is bypassed. With the thermostat it only runs the fan. No blown fuses

I tried that didn't work because the temperature reading it's stuck on 74 only in the daytime I put it on 72° only in the night time it does work read the some temperature in the night time only on another thing is doing you feel like it's very cold and it feel like water tripping it feel like it with the the air feel like ok we put it on 72° debating you go to 75 sit point it doesn't work it doesn't go down the same temperature at all I think the something in the unit in calibrate the same level hot and cold temperature level is not right
