Well, pls continue doing more with more cities and places. Even within Amsterdam I have visited twice and it’s always magical

Ooh, I might do that! I have a couple other themes and project planned first, but I might make a different city themed nook after that. Thank you for your nice comment! :)

Thank you! I want to do some more of these, though I'm from Amsterdam, so that was easy to recreate. I have a few 'fantasy' themed planned next, but let me know what kind of streets or city you would like to see, perhaps I can create some designs for the future! :)

Thank you so much, that's a good compliment, haha! I actually got a lot of inspiration from actual buildings I often walk past :)

What happens when the fairy lights die? How do you replace them? I see that you glued down the foam buildings over them.

Hi, good question! I made sure the top part of the battery pack is detachable (including the painted wood) without removing the foam. So when the batteries die, you can slide of the top and put in new batteries. That was one of the biggest challenges in the design, but it works!

@@nooksbynikki Thanks for your reply, I appreciate it. I made one book nook and I glued the lights behind the foam, but I am super worried if one of the lights might blow, not the actual battery pack itself. I cannot replace the lights because it has been glued down and I would rip the foam into pieces if I tried to get behind the building.

@@graceng5525 Ah, I understand what you mean now. LED lights are generally very efficient and rarely blow out, unless exposed to a powersource that is too strong or something. I've been using these lights in my artworks for years and none of them have ever died. Hope this puts your mind at ease a little!
