- Welcome to another flight review on my channel! Today we are going to be flying a 27 year old Fokker 70 from Sint Maarten to Curacao on JetAir Caribbean! This is a pretty rare airliner to see nowadays so I hope you enjoy!

I love those planes. The epitome of a “cute” in commercial aviation.
HAHA I love the spool up on the brakes at the end of the runway at St Maarten
Yeah the takeoff was really cool! When they released the brakes there was a very noticeable lunge back into the seat
Very nice flight on this rare bird. Notice that Curacao has been recieving plenty rainwater and brush vegetation is exhuberant.
Yeah it was nice and green to fly into! I'm glad the weather was nice when I was there too!
A solid regional jet!
Yeah spot on.
Great stuff! This is the first in-flight video I've seen from a Fokker aircraft. I must say though that the engine sounds after departure were a bit unnerving. 😅
Why not just call this video "Meet the Fokkers"?
I wish I would've thought of that 🤣
Meet the parents first 😂
That engine run up gave the people on Maho beach a nice blast!
Great experience. Thank you.
Geweldig. Lijkt me ook leuk om te doen.
Friend, I congratulate you on your great video...the image and sound are spectacular and being able to travel on this great plane even in 2024 was surely an unforgettable experience. greetings from Patagonia-Chile 🇨🇱
Nice review! And good to see that the (former) KLM-seats are still installed in this aircraft.
Loved this thank you !
Amazing video 👏🏻❤
😊 I hope to fly on a Jetair Caribbean Fokker F70 to Curaçao in the upcoming years Awesome Video Man!!!!
Fun fact: the aircraft you flew on (PJ-JAB) was the last ever Fokker aircraft built (December 1996)
Looks similar to a dc9 md80. Love the fokker jets.
I flew the Fokker-70 of Malev many times in the 2000's...
Nice landing
Aah the Fokker F-28 family generation,.. i miss flying with them. Grew up flying in the F28s, F70s,..
I flew the F27 and F28s. Didn't know there was a F70 in operations. Do they still manufacture Fokker aircrafts? They were very nice and smooth city hoppers.
Those would've been cool to fly on! I believe the F28 was developed into the F70 and F100 which to my knowledge were the last airliners Fokker made before they went bankrupt in 1996.
They no longer manufacture Fokker aircrafts, but they do stuff like VIP conversions!
Many Thanks for this report: Curaçao's JetAir Caribbean files for bankruptcy & on 18 June 2024, the Court of First Instance of Curaçao declared Jetair Caribbean bankrupt at their own request. As a result of this, the airline has ceased all operations.

No thrust reversers?
I think with the long runway they just let it cruise. The runway in Curacao is the third longest commercial runway in the Caribbean.
These still fly in Australia
Jetair Fokker 70
The airline recently went bankrupt
Fokkers better then boing, fokker 28 cool
