Pretty sweet to see a TRX700XX out there! I own one as well, looking at going out here tomorrow. Found your video. Good to know the terrain before I headed out.

Yeah, I was jealous of the IRS at that place. I was about to buy a 700xx but a friend had my Raptor and I knew he wouldn’t lie to me about the machine. I’m still wanting a 700xx as a spare machine though. The park is pretty rough and if your plastics are nice, you might not want to go there in the summer because of all the foliage. Thanks for checking out the video!

I grew up only an hour from School Creek and still consider it to be my home riding area even though I lived over 3 hours away. It's in pretty sad shape now. There used to be a volunteer group that would have a couple of work days there each year. They'd clear the trails and those were much nicer to ride. You used to be able to camp in the parking lots too. I always camped as close to the lake as I could.

Yep. It sounds like School Creek was quite the place back in the day. I had heard about the previous volunteers that kept the place up. There was actually a sign on the bathroom that said maintenance meeting had been cancelled due to lack of interest. It almost seemed like someone had tried to make the place nice again but couldn't get any help. Unfortunately, most of the ride parks in Kansas have become overgrown. It's especially bad for someone who likes to keep their plastics looking nice.

KiddsOffroad is planning to go riding at tuttle creek or school creek this weekend april 8th 2023. I grew up at school creek and love it but tuttle is fun too. Any takers for a group ride?

I would like to have full skid plates before I go back to Tuttle Creek. I also need to do some work on my machine before I ride it anywhere but my house. Thanks for the offer though!

@Matt's ATV oh ok. I made my own skid plate from that plastic stuff you see online. It works perfect haven't had any issues yet.

Definitely a hard task these days. I got lucky and found my 06 less than 30 minutes away.

A nice can am with mud tires would be perfect for that.

Can't argue with that. I prefer just to stay clean. It makes it WAY easier when you get home.

@@joshdoyle3438 as of now, we are thinking about going to sand wars. I believe it is the third weekend in October. I know Pete and the others have already ready been the the 250r weekend 3 times and it was really hot last time, so they were looking at something different. If you send a comment a little closer to October I will probably have a definite answer.
